Yes, it is a web based application to put onto a web server, but I'm having difficulty trying to download the files to enable upload to a linux based web server.

Hi Does anybody know of any good personal accounting software for both PC and Mac platforms. I remember quicken, but this was stopped selling in UK in 2005 and support withdrawn. Thanks

When setting up the additional accounts it asks you for an additional email address, this is only for the reason that if you do forget your password you can re-request it, and it is sent to the additional email address - I think thats how I read it when setting up for me.

Having seen and used both the Asus and the Samsung, the Samsung is definately my preference.

I have now transferred the domain names to another company, and with paying the admin fee to the current provider and renewing it with the new provider, it is still cheaper than renewing it with the old provider.

Now I'm being charged to Transfer out of my current supplier, wonderful.

I have a .co.uk domain name come up for renewal and they are charging me £20 for 2 years - is this generally the case that the cost of renewal is more than first purchased for? I have also thought about transferring the domain, but again I've been told this is not possible as it is a .co.uk domain name it has to be registered for 2 years, no more no less. Is this right? Anyone know?

As far as I know they can't refuse or give you an incorrect MAC code. When you ring, yes they may try to offer you packages to get you to stay. Just don't mention that you want to cancel with them, as you can request MAC code and if you don't use it in the time period you stay with your current provider. I'm with sky and have everything with them, very smooth transfer and lost internet access for about 5 mins whilst i connected the new kit up.
