  3. they possibly could `get away with it`, i suspect many people do everyday, but is it worth the embarrasment of being stopped ? personally i dont think it is but each to their own i suppose lol btw,,, dont buy the cigs called `Mars` in tunisia they really are terrible yes i made that mistake
  4. kids do not have a alcohol or tobacco allowance, read the third paragraph http://www.uktrf.com/faqfull-page.php?faqid=593 hth
  5. constructive dismissal ? being made to feel he has no option but to leave, he must get a different job even if less pay, heres a phrase that must be used, "i accept the job but under sufference" i dont know for certain if it is but, i went throught this with a previous employer who made me a manager, then 6 months down the line told me there wasnt a position for me,, even though id trained another guy to be a manager while i was there. he needs to speak to an employment law solicitor to get the hard facts of his case
  6. that was the question on Hallamsters homework on big john at breakfast about a week ago lol
  7. i told my daughter that the bobbing of the pidgeons head meant they were sayin "i wanna go that way",,,,,, think about it,, its funny
  8. my daughters phone was stolen from the changing rooms at school,i had the sim and imei blocked, we thought it would be ok because it is insured,,so insurance co. want a letter from school saying it was stolen there, after lots of hassle i got to speak to the head, who told me they would not type a letter for the insurance........ then sent me a letter through the post saying they would not write a letter for the insurance the insurance wont pay out without the letter catch 22 or what
  9. all you need to know is on this site,, http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk ive been to Olu Deniz a few times and i would say the beach/sea is not suitable for a 2 year old, the beach shelves very quicly and the sea can be quite rough, having said that the lagoon is fantastic for kids, nice and shallow and more sand than stones like the main Belkeciz beach.

At least someone does care about your children's education - their teachers! " bananagirl i ought to be ashamed ? how dare you !, just quoting part of my post does you no favours, i have always encouraged my kids to do well at school, (as was in my original post), they very rarely miss school due to my stressing to them how important education is. i took them away last year so as not to disrupt the most important part of secondary school ie:the lead upto and including exams, i have never given any teacher any reason to say anything like she did (and yes i did take it up with the relevent authorities who agreed with me !) in response to my bold part of your reply,, hence my statement of hypocrisy, my kids were out of school for one day,, teachers want to strike for one day !! get the idea ????? and just for the record `bananagirl`the kids missed one day which was the first day back in september due to the plane being delayed for 14 hours and "not isolated" because there are other parents who have had similar `discussions` with this assistant head, so please do not judge me when you know nothing of how i bring my kids up, because that says a lot more about you than it does about me
  12. jobcentre will help you to compile a C.V. or ms office has templates you can use/customise to suit yourself
  13. Hostile to teachers ! , mmmm, let me tell you a story,,, last year we had a family holiday, and due to the aircraft being delayed we got back the following day, this was explained to the school, we also explained the kids would be in the day after, the reply was ok no problem thanks for letting us know ! all sorted ?? not on your life, i had a phone call from the assistant head demanding that i go into school to discuss my kids education, because (in her words ) "you obviously dont really care about their education", i was gobsmacked, i have encouraged my kids all the way through school, this is not an isolated incident as well, needless to say i did go to school and politely put my piece across but yet they can strike for a better pay deal, while i appreiciate there are good and bad in any form of work, it just seems to stink of hypocrisy to me. and before anyone decides to start flaming me, this is just the basics of the story, there is loads more to it but you get the idea
  14. right peeps, a quick question about metal polishing. how much call is there for it ?? would you use a service like this?? is there anyone already offering this service ?? for stuff like wheels, frames, handlebars etc. etc, even jewellery ! its just a question at the moment, but i used to work in engineering where we had to do everything ourselves, ie: milling, turning, cleaning, polishing, inspection and pack/despatch, (we made replacement hip joints etc, yes the ones in your legs lol) so the polishing had to be really good cheers pj ive posted this on a couple of websites already, the answers i got were far from constructive, so please keep any answers relevant
