Is the Tesco Infirmary Road the only car boot in/near Sheffield tomorrow? If so, does anyone know how likely it is we can get a pitch by turning up in the morning?

Electrical and Plumbing Reports - House Purchase
dawnhindle replied to dawnhindle's topic in Sheffield Property & Housing
Thank you very much for the responses everyone. The heating system is really old andcthe radiators look problematic, so we are getting that done thoroughly. The electrics should be fine due to the age of the house, but we have an electrician doing a visual check to be on the safe side. -
Help with a function room for approx 60 people

Look through here: http://www.sheffieldhelpyourself.org.uk/keyword_search.asp?keyword=VENUES+FOR+HIRE ---------- Post added 11-03-2015 at 16:42 ---------- Also, Courtyard Cafe in the old Banners department store in Attercliffe is fantastic value. Buffet starts from about £3 per person. The have a DJ, bar, etc. -
http://www.amiebfashions.co.uk/ Did a fantastic job on my wedding dress. But might be more expensive than you want. If you don't want someone who specialises in wedding/bridesmaid dresses there is Stitch Express on Cathedral Walk in town who sorted my friend's bridesmaid dress. And a decent tailor up in the arcade in Orchard Square (stairs to the right of Waterstones).

Nobody wants to view my house ! :-(

Also the market information on Rightmove shows houses that sold for a substantially lower price on your road (170 to 175). Might make people think yours is overpriced. -

Have you asked Haybrook to give you a Rightmove report? It looks at how many people are looking at your property etc and might be useful. -
Hello all, Inspired by my mum's friend, we tied a 7" vinyl record to the back of each of our chairs (well, the great team at Sparkle n Shine did!). We were really complimented for this (along with many other geeky touches). If this appeals to anyone I am selling the records for local collection. See here or PM me with an offer. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201097837482?ssPageName=STRK:MESCX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1554.l2649 Cheers, Dawn

On my way to work this morning there was a ginger cat in the outside lane of the Parkway with significant injuries, clearly dead. It was near the Rotherham sign. May not be there now, but thought worth posting in case someone's cat is missing. Very sad ??

We are getting married at Tapton Hall in April and a friend has offered to DJ. He normally plays places with their own equipment. The venue have said he needs to have public liability insurance, which we can get for £24.99. We would also need to hire a PA plus equipment for DJing, preferably with turntables (most people seem to hire out CDs/MP3 etc). Any suggestions much appreciated! Thanks, Dawn

Hello all, I still have the bridesmaid dress I wore for my brother's wedding and am having a clear out. It needs dry cleaning or hand washing (looks like some champagne got spilt on it) and has a small hole near the hem, hence I don't feel right selling it but it is in great condition otherwise and a lovely dress. However it is a Dessy dress and cost about £160 pounds. It is a long dress, with a halter neck in ancient rose, roughly size 14/16. Email me if would be of use to anyone on a tight budget and can send a phto. Dawn dawnhindle@yahoo.com
