These floods are not caused by rivers bursting their banks but by drains overflowing. The major cause of this is the amount of gardens that have been paved over. As more people pave their gardens the problem will just get worse. What can you do? Make sure your drive drains into the soil.

Its only disturbing because people are not used to seeing it. By asking you to leave they are perpetuating this nonsense. Swim where you like and refuse to leave. You could be the next Rosa Parks.

I think it is a similar thing to big cats dragging their kill back to a safer place to eat, it's probably built into their genes. My cat picks meat out of her bowl (in the kitchen) and drops it on the living room carpet to eat. This happens more if i'm making noise in the kitchen, so i leave her to eat in peace.

There was alot of trouble about this recently because of the number of chip shops etc who were being fined because of having the radio on. What i dont understand is that the radio stations have to pay a fee for every song that they play to PRS so why are they charging again?

Someone knicked my tax disc out of my car a few years ago. £7 for a replacement disc and £50 for the window just because some selfish c**t didn't want to pay for their own disc.

What we need is tougher sentencing not vigilantism. You only need to look at the case of the lynch mob that turned up at the home of a Paediatrician to know that a court of law is the only place for someone's guilt to be determined.

I had this problem once and it was because i had left an internal light on in the car. If you only drive in daylight then you wouldn't even notice it.

I'm all for stronger sentencing but four months for pushing someone seems excessive even to me.
