  1. I dont object to store detectives as such but if they are going to be so obvious they may as well wear a security uniform.
  2. I'm pretty sure he was a store detective because he was only wearing a t shirt and it was raining outside and he wasnt wet and he wasn't carrying a basket.
  3. Has anyone ever been followed round a store by one, and made to feel like a criminal. It happened to me this morning in Superdrug on the moor. I was the only customer and he followed me everywhere, horrible.
  4. I was born in Ayrshire, SCOTLAND now live in Sheffield, not sure of miles but about 6 hours away. Work commitments.
  5. Thanks smoky, I have sent you a PM. By the way I don't suppose you do fences as well?

  9. Greys Anatomy was brilliant tonight, so sad, my eyes were filling up and there was a lump in my throat, I hope Derek dumps his wife and goes back to Meredith.
  10. Hooray! All smoking should be banned everywhere, why should non smokers be inflicted, filthy disgusting habbit. I hate it when you go in to a pub, come back out smelling like an old ashtray, yuk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But hey thats just my opinion.
  11. I got sterilised 3 years ago when i was 39 after the birth of my second child, I knew my family was complete, so went to see the doc at Jessops, they asked me why I had chosen to get done instead of my husband. I was given an appointment for 6 months later. Went into hospital 7am, operation 8am, sitting up in bed 11.30am eating toast, home again teatime, doddle no probs at all. Bit of a crampy stomach when came round from anaesthetic but that was all, would reccomend it to anyone.
  12. We are going to Cornwall (near Falmouth) end July for a week, can you reccomend any good places to visit, suitable for young kids?
  13. No it was just that my husband teaches at Hallam, hunters bar is a bit posh is it not?
  14. Just out of curiosity what are you studdying and where do you live?
  15. Did you particularly want something like drama etc? I have a 3 year old little girl but she wouldn't like that type of thing. She loves going swimming and to soft play centers where she can burn off some energy with her older brother. I don't know if you live in Sheffield but if you do have you tried going into the Childrens Information Centre on Leopold Street, they can help you with all sorts off stuff in there. Good Luck
  16. My son has a mobile and he is 10, he has had it for about 8 months, we bought it for him on holiday last summer it was on offer at £19.99, its not fancy just a simple phone with a few games. He has asked for a new one that takes photos but so far I have resisted, I think I will make him save up for it himself like Lotti above, this will make him appreciate and look after it.
  17. I have got 2 virgin guest passes if anyone is interested in trying it out, pm me for more info.
  18. Can someone please tell me how you go about checking your broadband speed? I am with virgin and am supposed to be getting 10mg. Not really had any problems but recently doubled speed and haven't really noticed a difference.
  19. Thanks very much Joe Totale that pretty much covers all my questions.
  20. Can anyone tell me if there is a uniform at King Ecgberts school, if so whats it like and also what time does the school day start and finish, information on buses from Heeley would be great. thanks
  21. I am slightly dissapointed by this series, not sure why. It just doesn't seem to have the same feel, not as many jokes apart from Wayne Carr. Hope it picks up a bit soon, can't stand that Pauline.
  22. My kids cadburys chocolate fingers, they are the best.
  23. Just wondered what you thought about it. I love Johnathon, he loves causing an argument. Glad to see the back of Clare though, her voice drove me mad.
  24. Hey its nice to see that someone is on the same wavelength as me, it seems that there is quite a few people here willing to spread doom and gloom about elderly people, I think they are all forgetting they will be old themselves one day.
  25. Charming. You might be in one of those "blumin electric wheelchairs " yourself someday! My dad has suffered 3 major strokes in the last couple of years and the only way he can get about now is in "one of those blumin electric wheelchairs". So until you are in the same possition yourself I think you should keep your criticising opinions to yourself.
