  1. Yes , I heard from someone this morning that it has just been on radio, they have gone into administration. I have posted my letter off this morning, so will have to wait and see if I get any response, I won't hold my breath.
  2. Yes me too, but you should phone Consumer Direct because they will give you a case number which might help. I will send you link to web page where I got number from.
  3. A friend has just been to the guy at Crystal Peaks and he told her he was taking over supply for a new school because there current supplier has gone bankrupt!! Could this be Classwear by any chance, if so it would explain a lot.
  4. I have just phoned Consumer Direct, who have told me to send a letter to Classwear by Recorded delivery, giving them a 14 day deadline to give me back money due, saying that if they don't they will be in breach of contract, they have given me a case number as well, so fingers crossed. I also spoke to my daughters school yesterday and they have been having problems with them as well.
  5. Still no response, I have been trying to phone for days now, you either get kept on hold for ages or answer machine. I have left message and email saying if I do not hear in next few days I am sending a complaint to Trading Standards, I have found an online form that will allow me to do this. Anyone else had any luck yet?
  6. You take a donation in to school as well as wearing the t shirt.
  7. I paid with my debit card over the phone and they said it would be an envelope with cash in it that would be sent to my son's school, I thought this was odd because you normally get a refund the same way you paid. Well the way it's looking I may never see my money again, I wouldn't mind if it was a couple of quid but it is for £36!! Might try the trading standards way, if I can g et them to answer phone, or might try going out there in person.
  8. No time, they very rarely answer phone or reply to emails
  9. Why can't they just refund everyones money and let us get stuff from somewhere else?
  10. Classwear website now says "unavailable", is there something funny going on here, tried phoning and got answer machine saying nobody was available to answer call. Will I ever get my refund? Just rang my son's school and they are going to try and see if they can get any further than me, good luck to them.
  11. Well I finally managed to speak to someone on phone last week who told me they would send my refund to my sons school last friday, guess what I am still waiting, tried them on phone again, no luck, I am getting really fed up now, they never answer phone or reply to emails.
  12. Im also having problems with them, I am waiting on refunds and nobody is answering the phone to me.
  13. Thanks for reply's, when I said personalised I meant just ordinary cards but with wording printed inside, rather than having to write who it's from. It's for my mum who is now unfortunately unable to write her own cards, we would need around 50, so would work our expensive if they were all individual.
  14. Looking for somewhere that can print me some personalised xmas cards. Anyone had any made recently?
  15. Could you please PM me a price as well, thank you. I have a 55cm gas cooker, need oven and racks cleaned.
  16. Hi there, We have an extension onto back of our house which has a tiled floor, the grout has now come away from a handful of tiles and we need to have these fixed as house is up for sale. The tiles are 40 x 40 cm and we do have a few spare. If anyone could come and have I look I would be really grateful. I live in Heeley. Either PM me or post on this thread, thanks:)
  17. HELP NEEDED Our house is currently up for sale and a couple of the viewers have been asking about boiler and heating system. Our boiler is a Gloworm Economy Plus (not combi), it was installed 17yrs ago just before we bought the house, it gets a yearly check up by British Gas, so far it seems to be doing ok. One of our viewers brought round a builder mate and he told him that he would more than likely have to install a new heating system!!!! I was wondering if someone would be able to come and have a look at our boiler and heating system to see how easy (or not) it would be to change boiler to a new combi, ie would it be able to go where existing one is and if we really do need a whole new heating system. Any advice would be great, thanks. I live in Heeley in case anyone lives locally.
  18. We have been having exact same problem as you for last couple of weeks, thought it was computer at first, let me know what Virgin say when they come out, thanks.
  19. Reason for Rehome / Sale - Dog belongs to my elderly parents who are no longer able to look after him. Time Scale – How Urgent? Immediately as dog is being kept in kennels until new home can be found. Sale Amount -Not looking for money just good home for him. Has the Dog been in Rescue- No Location -Currently in Scotland but I would bring dog back to Sheffield (Heeley) with me. Age & Sex - About 10yrs, Male. Breed/ Mix - Jack Russell Terrier, White with odd black spot, short haired. KC Registered- No Approximate size - Small. Exercise Needed - Unfortunately he has not been walked for years, just let out into garden. Neutered & Micro chipped - Not sure, doubt it, will try to find out from vet. Vaccinated & Wormed - yes. Live in / out - In Ever lived with other cats/dogs/other animals - No. Any Current or Historical Health or Psychological Issues - No. Temperament - Great natured friendly little dog. Good or Bad with Children - Very good. Dislike of Men or Women - Ok, may bark at stranger walking past. OK with Dogs / Cats/other Animals - No idea as dog has not been walked for a long while, and hasn't lived near any other animals. Travel OK in Car - yes I think so, not been in car very often. Left happily alone in the House for How Long at a time - Happy to be left but can bark for a bit when first left. Destructive Behaviour - None as far as I know. Barks - Yes, when a stranger passes, or when initially left alone. Pull on the lead - No idea as I have never walked him, He is not used to being walked. Crate trained - No Housetrained - Has been known to have the odd accident, think this is due to not been in regular routine, ie not being walked. General Information you can share about the Dog. My elderly parents have just returned from spending 4 weeks in hospital after my dad fell and injured himself, he has been left very week by the fall (stroke victim also), as my mum suffers dementia, a decision has been made that they are no longer able to care for him. Toby is a lovely friendly little dog, who has not had the care he deserved over the last few years. As neither my brother nor I are able to take him we are now looking for a new home for him. He has been in Kennels for last 4 weeks and will have to remain there until we can find him a new home. If you think you could take him or know someone who could, please get in touch, my parents are devastated at having to give him up and we have assured them we will do everything we can to get him re homed.
  20. Thanks Plain Talker, very helpful. I will check out these websites. My mum's carer has sent me some fantastic books to read on understanding dementia, these have also been really useful.
  21. Well I would like Andrew to win, I think he has been a great sport since he has been in and has had the best experience out of them all. I hope it's not Josie or Mario. I would like to see... 1. Andrew 2. Dave 3. JJ 4. Mario 5. Josie ( I have put her last because I think she wasted a fantastic opertunity by being stuck under a duvet with JohnJames for nearly 2 months, what a waste!!
  22. There was a sign on a lamp post at the crossroads of Myrtle Road and Annes Road, it said that permission has been granted to introduce speed bumps on Myrtle Road, my friend and I stopped to read it one day walking back from school, it was a few months ago though.
