Well I haven't heard a thing back from administrators, so have waved bye bye to my £36!!

I spoke to Vodafone yesterday and they said I am free to do whatever I want with the phone as long as I keep making the monthly payments on the contract.

My husband got one as well 2 weeks ago, just a warning this time, thank goodness.

We had a burst mains pipe last year and ended up having pipe relaid. We got a company called Aqua Pipelines, they have a website, they were excellent. By the way ours cost £1000.

Thanks everyone, I think I am going to ask Vodafone just to be sure. I will continue to pay the contract till the end as I have been with Vodafone for years and am perfectly happy with them, it's just the phone I am not that happy with.

Thanks Ghozer, The phone was free and contract is £20 month, have read all over documents I got and can't see anything about a guarantee if you are unhappy.

Can anyone help explain about monthly mobile phone contracts? I have just bought a new phone ( Nokia C3-01 touch and type ) from Vodafone, it is on a 2 year contract. After using it for the last 2 weeks, I am now wondering if I made the wrong decision, I do like the phone but am struggling to get to grips with the touch screen, my old phone Nokia 6300 was so much easier to use, and quicker to find contacts numbers. What I want to know is, will the phone still belong to Vodafone till the end of the contract, I am happy with the contract package and am happy to carry on with that, it's just the phone I am not too happy with. I know I can remove sim card and put it back in my old phone but am I allowed to sell on the new phone or do I have to keep it till end of contract? I have never had a contract phone before so not too sure.

Well I haven't heard anything back from Poppleton and Appleby, they took my details and said someone would be in touch but not heard a thing, so looks like I am never going to see my refund, just wish I had ordered goods direct from school rather than going through Classwear myself as I believe a lot of schools are refunding parents. Has anyone had any luck getting money back yet?

Is it just me or is the Sheffield forum clock wrong? People on this thread are posting who has won and it says the time is from yesterday!!!!! I make it 23:14 sunday night. Problem solved, clock was wrong when I wasn't logged in, I am now and it is back to normal.

Why did they even bother trying to open. My son goes to King Ecgberts and I emailed them back yesterday to say he won't be back in this week, didn't want to struggle to get him there for them to decide to close.

My husband caught the 5.29am train this morning going to Edinburgh, he has just arrived at Doncaster to change trains and has been told train will arrive around 1 and 1/2 hours late!!!!! he is now waiting for train back to Sheffield. Think it is pretty bad up at Northumberland.

I got a letter from my sons school this morning, and a copy of a letter sent to them from Classwear confirming they have gone into administration, the school have said they will try to get back all missing items and that they will be looking for a new supplier. Whether I will ever get my money back remains to be seen:huh:
