Honey on spare ribs is brill. Get some spare ribs, put on a load of honey and white wine or any wine come to that, put some salt and black pepper on them, leave over night, then grill next day ...great stuff, dead easy and brill,. (Just make sure you either put some tin foil over them or keep an eye on them)

Ta for that, I've had a look. But do you know any other details, sorry I sound like a vulture, but you only get the basic stuff in the papers, not that is really happening, and I do actually remember her now. -

Went to Sheffield a fortnight ago, only for the day, first time since I left about 15 + years ago. The first building I recognised was the Roxy, how many nights did i fall out of that bloody place!!! In fact before when it was the Toprank, it was the first place I got bladdered in (totally) Was drinking lambrusco wine (the height of sophistication was I?) and managed to get home and and to bed, pukked up my guts and thought I was actually dying'cos I've slobbered up my intestines!!! So no please don't pull it down 'cos all my memory lane memories will be perished:confused: -
I know who wins!!

So what is the latest? I would go and buy a Star, but it's a bit far away from here, so how can I find out if I don't ask? -
[]We also have to remember by looking at comments made by Portugal locals, they think we all leave our children home alone, the McCann's have shown us up as a nation for their own selfish needs. That's not really true:| Here it is actually a criminal offence to leave children under 14 alone (might be in the U.K. too dunno?) The baby sitting service was either a paid in room sitter, or a free on site creche, the grandparents told the News that they McCanns refused both services as they didn't like to leave them with strangers!! 99% of restaurants are child friendly here, and the kids would have been made welcome, so there is no excuse for it. The door was left open for easy access so the parents could check on them ever half an hour or so, so we assume it made easy access for anyone to either abduct Madeleine or for her to wander off which is still a possibility, (but rather more boring for the media to sell stories!!) The latest news on Portuguese t.v is that a member of "Team McCann" has refused to either confirm or deny that they have agreed rights to a book deal, so the whole bloody mess is still a circus, and guess who are the celebs???

I used to live in Stannington for 20 odd years, (my heart is still there) can you tell me if any more details have come out? -
[ In answer to the OP. Born on Moorland Place 44yrs ago and lived here every day since. 'Educated' (if you can call my efforts that!) at the Infants' school, Nook Lane, then Bradfield - may go to the 50th anniversary 'do' on 1st July. I lived up Highfield Rise 44 years ago (for 20 years) Snap with the same schools

Was it Mark Rose? He had a part in Emmerdale, and a bit part in All creatures great and small, think he must have packed acting up by now though.
