First, all the above information given is all true!! I have had a pair over a week, when I require to watch the TV,they go into another room. Still, happy that I got them. The problem I'm having is getting them to eat friut or Veg. I have read, that they should only have 20% seed, but thats all they will eat. Any advice, would be greatfull. Thanks.

Thanks for the advice & book. I never,to be honest thought of them fighting. I am still going to have a pair, see how we go. It is looking like getting them from a pet shop. Been to see a pair in a shop in Sheffield. I have held off,to see if any breeder did get in touch. But up to now no one as. It's a shame,I know when I kept Budgies,I gave away the young,to good homes. Thanks.

I am all geared up to get a pair of Love Birds. I've never kept them. I've had Budgies & a Parrotlet. Do they have problems keeping them? If so can I be informed. Are they any different than all other Pet Birds. Thanks.
-
I have had Budgies & had a Parrotlet. I have not had Love Birds before. Could you inform why they don't make good pets. Thanks.

Hi hillsbro, great photo, plus I'm 90% sure the car,on the top righthand,of the photo belonged to my Grandparents. Its the same model (It was green.) I have a photo of my brother & I stood at the side of it around 1968/69,at an event. They lived with my Mother & Uncle,in White House buildings which you got to though the entrance on the lefthand side of your photo. Sure they lived above the chemist. I know they went to the school mentioned. Their surname, was Cawton.

Thank you for your above information. I find its sad that, this man worked at least 50 years. Though to two Wars, there's not more info on him. It just shows,in the them days there was a thing as jobs for life. It's a job I wouldn't had wanted, hard place to work I guess.
