Peace in the Park Stewards! The training will be a short session, lasting no longer than two hours, in which volunteers are shown the layout and plans for the festival at Endcliffe Park, June 2nd. Different responsibilities, activities and jobs will be explained and volunteers will be asked to commit to a time slot or shift when they will be present. The training date are... Saturday 26th May 4pm at Broomsprings Centre (Broomhall) Wednesday 30th May 6.30 at Highfields library, London rd Your help is much needed and much appreciated! You will not be payed but this is a great experiance to put on your CV, and a good chance to contribute to an exciting community festival. Thanks!

Hello! Thanks for your interest in becoming a steward for Peace in the Park. This is a really important role as the festival cannot happen without stewards... and we need lots! The festival is on June 2nd in Endcliffe Park, and we need adaptable individuals who would be prepared to steward/work for 3.5 hour shifts between 9am until 9.30pm. Please choose a time, that would suit you. * 9 - 12.30 * 12 - 3.30 * 3 - 6.30 * 6 - 9.30 You'd also need to come along to a training session on either - Wed 23 May (eve) or - Sat 26 May (day). If you are over 18, want to have some fun, meet lovely people and make the festival happen, please get in contact. The festival is completely run by volunteers so we can't pay you, but to say thanks we will organise some nice food on the day. We especially need qualified First Aiders, and those with relevant Bar experience. Sorry to hear you have found the level of stewarding disapointing in the past. This feeling has already been brought up at a meeting, so has become an issue we will concentrate on improving for this years event. I will pass on your point to the person who is organising the stewarding, and ask them to respond to your concern.

Peace in the Park is here again for one delightful day of unity, music, art performance, and much more.. After the huge attendance of last years festival, Peace in the Park will take place at Endcliffe Park, Sat 2nd June, 12-8pm where theres space for even more people and fun! Peace in the Park depends on volunteers, fundraisers and donations for it’s success- we receive no official funding, and all profit goes to charity. Do you think you could help?
