Around Andover Street, Pitsmoor?
pinlock replied to pinklola's topic in Sheffield Property & Housing
There's massive investment in Burngreave/Pitsmoor. The area is definately on the up. I have lived here for 27 years and have seen the low points, you name 'em.... But, looking now, as neeeeeeeeeek said, house are snapped up in days which can only be a good sign. -
You could ask at the Sikh temple on Ellesmere road North. Their number (0114) 2420 108

I viewed a property 1 week before Christmas. It had been repossesed by the bank. Anyway, the agent/rep on the day told me that they had another 3 repossesed properties coming on the market in January. The banks 'usually' send these properties to auction, however, because the demand is strong, they just instruct the agents to sell and they get sold pretty quick. Will the demand grow weak? Dunno. Wait and see.

I think the main objective now for Bush etc, is to just get Baghdad city under control. If you look at what happened in Afghanistan, Kabul is relatively calm...however outside of Kabul it most certainly isn't... They will be looking to stablise Baghdad and then try to cut off the weapons supplies to the 'insurgency'.

I haven't seen the execution video... As I posted earlier (other thread), when do we see Bush and Blair held to account???? I say Christmas day 2007.... complete with THX Dolby surround and HD . . .

Saddam guilty of crimes against humanity? Probably. BUT the way in which his execution was carried out was dispicable. I mean, why wasn't ALL the cases against him heard and then him being sentenced? Anyway, the 'coalition forces[tm]' got their way.. Saddam was the head of the Iraqi military, just like Bush is of the US military... I think it's time for Bush to be held to account.
