  1. Sometimes my clothes arent getting wet when I run my washing machine and I'd like to know what's happening. This is an intermittent issue and I'm worried that it indicates a more serious problem. Any practical and realistic advice gratefully appreciated.
  2. strongly recommend the Feldenkrais Method - got me up and running about quite literally with the only medical prospect being anti-inflammatories followed up by steroids. The method was developed by a chap called Moshe Feldenkrais who suffered some kind of knee injury - I think through playing sports - but you can check that out on Wikipedia or via http://www.simplymoving.info - they're nothing to do with me, but I'd happily recommend them based on their results
  3. You could do as well to look into Feldenkrais method which I think does all that and more
  4. And at least their MD is being pro-active about resolving his staffing problems which sound dire to say the least.
  5. Although I'm not that clued up on processors etc, I realised it might be an end of line clearance deal as it didnt have graphics card etc. Now looking at this http://www.ebuyer.com/product/252738 which seems to have satisfied some happy bunny.
  6. Thanks for your support & advice - very much appreciated. Andco
  7. I agree. BUT, I've just received an email from ebuyer with an exceptional offer http://www.ebuyer.com/product/251310 priced at only £230 + free delivery with the following spec which looks incredibly attractive ntel Pentium DC E5800 3.2GHz 4GB RAM 1TB HDD DVD Writer No Operating System - dont see this as an issue as installing an OS may be time-consuming and tedious but not all that difficult.
  8. Ok that looks a better price especially if it's inc VAT??? Which shop & where?
  9. Based on previous advice, now got another quote and would like to know whether a) quote is reasonable for my needs and b) whether the price is reasonable for the spec Thanks again Normal MATX case System RCS VL 1.4 - £659.00 £659.00 Processor Intel Core i5 650 Quad Core Processor Memory 8GB £32.00 Hard Drive 1TB HDD Included Disk Drive Dual Drive DVDRW Graphics Card ATI 5450 1GB HDMI Included OS Windows 7 Home Premium Included Warranty 1 Years Parts and Labour Wireless Not Required N/A Peripherals Keyboard & Mouse Wired Keyboard & Mouse £20.00 Monitor 24" £160.00 Extras Data Transfer Not Required N/A Installation Not Required N/A Full System Load Required £40.00 Including: 3 Years Parts and Labour Full System Load etc Total Price £911.00
  10. Cheers - that's really what I was looking for as I had a feeling that what I really wanted wasnt really all that suitable. On building my own, I guess that's possible at a pinch but just have far too much. I'll get them to give me a quote for this and see what it comes out at. Hope it's not going to go through the roof, but I do think you're right about HD size etc which is what made me really take a long hard look at supplier quotes. I would also really like it to be eco-friendly. Any other suggestions/advice much appreciated.
  11. Initiative inspired by as previously stated need for lightweight, dont really need another laptop as it's really only going to be in one place. If I need to work anywhere else in my home, then I've got wireless and a laptop/netbook. Other important considerations include: local supplier, good value for money (which I guess you're saying is not what I've got in any of these offerings), lack of speed in existing system to process very substantial digital photography collection with substantial photoshop/lightroom editting. My old laptop is 5 years old, really only good as a spare, my desktop dates back to 2004 is an AMD Athlon 2400+(+?) and only good as a cheap, reliable system with one careful owner.
  12. I reckon that puts the death knells on their kit for me
  13. Open to suggestions - what would you recommend? Mega thanks
  14. BUT 5 years RTB warranty is not something to be sniffed at, or is it?
  15. Just to clarify for the benefit of anyone wanting to PM me with system quotes, I'm not interested in private deals or any transaction which doesnt permit credit card payment
  16. I need a lightweight desktop computer benefits being it's easier to futureproof than a laptop and will be used by one user (me) in a fixed location location.

  18. I think that part of the problem with Real Computer Shop is their management have handed over the most important stuff - ie sales to young kids with little, if any work experience. I almost didnt buy something from them due to their lack of expertise and related lack of understanding about my immediate needs. It was only after speaking with one of the gaffers that I had a better understanding of my needs and related purchasing decision. So some expensive mistakes due to lack of experience which is probably leading to lost revenue. Also not sure I'm happy with their online purchasing policy which seems to let them off the hook when things go wrong as a condition of using that system is to refer any maintenance/warranty/other probs back to the mfr/supplier rather than to Real Computers. BUT - on balance I dont feel I'm being ripped off by them as I do with some of the other companies.
  19. I could but if I only have to pay £4.99 for 250 ml for a couple tbsps/day why go to all that trouble when someone else has done it for me?
  20. Thanks for the tip sumayyah. Finallhy found what I was looking - 500 ml @ £4.99 in Waitrose so I'm a happy camper.
  21. Just found it here @ £4.49 for 250 mlwith free delivery for orders over £7 http://www.goodwebsite.co.uk/Buy-Good-Hemp-oil.php so I'll forget about waitrose which is clearly grossly over-priced Thanks anyway
  22. Does anyone know where I can buy Good Oil Hemp seed oil. I was told Tesco, Sainsburys etc all sell it but Tesco's only sold Yors Oil - a Yorkshire original rapeseed and according to the lable is grown in the beautiful county of Yorkshire using traditional methods. etc etc etc. But rapeseed oil is NOT hemp seed oil which is what I want to buy. Thanks for reading
  23. all of that is theoretically going to be resolved under the PFI although I'm still struggling to fathom how the private investors will see any ROI.
  24. That's a reasonable price for an implant and assuming your gums can support it, I would imagine that it has to be a far more comfortable option than a denture. Charles Clifford Dental Hospital - foc; but there's a waiting list of at least 5 months before you'd be seen by a supervised student.
