I consider myself rather lucky as I'm able to give something back to the community I grew up in.
I've had 22 jobs in the last 8 years (last count) and found working for companies that deal with money or specific products (Banks, call centres, pensions etc) are usually the worst to work for as there is too much focus on money and profit, and this can make the working environment ****ty to say the least. The best companies I've found to work for are ones that offer a service of some sort (hospitals, universities, councils etc).
