Albert was a Walking Encyclopedia, a real character with tremendous love and respect for the countryside and the people he met on his walks. Yorkshire and Derbyshire have lost a great friend and a Gentleman.

Brillliant walk which I would heartily recommend to everyone who fancies it. I really wanted to do this walk and the reality surpassed my expectations!- Much less road than I anticipated and the leaves and scenery were amazing. Best wishes to the Hip and Back Crew! -hope they get better soon x No beer today - Albert (Where are you?!) would have been proud of us . A good joint decision today
