  1. fly, its so much easier!!! ive caught the ferry once, then tried flying there, and i would never do the ferry again. last time i went, i think the flights were 75 inc taxes, online check in with hand luggage only. i left the house at 5am and was walking out of central station for 10am, its really a no brainer i think
  2. well i stand corrected :\ must have been last week, as nothing was mentioned when i last went up. cant believe i wasnt on site when they found them, missed out big time!
  3. ive been working on the new school build for the past year, and as far as im aware, no tunnels have been found anywhere on the site. infact the only majr excavation that has been carried out is levelling the car park and digging trenches for incoming service and they have all been done without problem. not sure where you have heard this
  4. m-code is now here to save the sheffield night life, 10pm - 8am. yes pleeeaaassseeee!!! with dj's such as youngsta, yousef, danny rampling.
  5. tbh mate im not sure, as i work out of the sheffield office. we will have a certain amount of our own labour on there, sparks and pipefitters ect and they may have subbed out packages where our labour force isnt available. most, if not all the main packages will already have deals in place, as by looking at the project, steel work and floor slabs have gone in, so we should be starting on site soon. however small packages, such as final connections ect may not be finalised, so deffo worth a call to the branch. hope this helps pal, if u need anymore info, drop us a pm

  7. went NYE, from my point of view it was awesome, not seen anything like it in sheffield before. if you like good old fashioned packed rave in a warehouse with 2 of the best soundsystems in sheffield, a makeshift bar and a some grotty couches to chill out on then, yeh its awesome. no mod cons, 1 gents toilet, but amazing music, and not 1 bit of trouble all night. very underground, but very good!
  8. god some people have really in depth with this. why is everyone complaining. the developer has seen an opportunity to make a sizeable profit like all businesses would like to do, whilst giving money to charity that they almost certainly wouldn't have done if just selling them. like any property developer they are a finding it difficult to shift these apartments so they have used a marketing idea that reaches out to a lot of people in the area. 50 quid for a chance to win a fully furnished apartment for at least 125 years....certainly better than the lottery. i've bought a ticket, and guessing many students and young workers round the city and county will, aswell as people hoping to make some money. i'd rather spend 50 quid on this than on any lottery ticket or scratch card.
  9. gotta be a breadcake. this make my mates laugh when were at college. (from hartlepool) put it in boot ot car
  10. or oldcoats anyone know if its open tomorrow? didnt know if they open in the winter?
  11. yeh prince charles The Prince of Wales will visit Sheffield Forgemasters International, tour the foundry, unveil a commemorative stone marking the commencement of building on the new heavy machine shop and meet staff and apprentices, Brightside Lane, Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Regeneration Trust, will visit the Sowerby Bridge Wharf site, tour the restored buildings and site and meet those involved in the regeneration of the area, Sowerby Bridge Wharf, Halifax, West Yorkshire. The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Regeneration Trust, will open Eastbrook Hall, tour the building, viewing an apartment and the restored façade, and attend a reception for those involved in the project, Eastbrook Hall, Bradford, West Yorkshire. The Prince of Wales will open Cottingley Cornerstone Centre, tour the complex of community facilities, meet charity trustees, staff and supporters and attend a service of dedication, Cottingley Cornerstone Centre, Littlelands, Cottingley, Bingley, West Yorkshire. so he doesnt just sit on his throne then lmao
