No snow, plenty of rain and a nice grey sky. Kinda the norm!

Just thought it may be useful to build up ties ... wonder what people on here did for a living etc...? I work for a Packaging Company near Meadowhall - kinda interesting in a sad box-nerd kinda way, but I like it. I was also at The Star for 8 years as a designer, so a big change for me. Paul.

[SOLD] What's good about living in Sheffield?!
Paul Cocker replied to a topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Sheffield is never more than 15 minutes away from the countryside, you still have areas with a "village feel" - Sheffield still attracts large businesses and the wages are not horrendous. I love Sheffield, my wife moved here to be with me from Dallas, certain things about Sheffield "irk" her, but as a main she loves it too. -
Didn't they used to have an event at the City Hall, plus there is also "Brighton Beach" which is held there, kinda similar!

I eat meat while conscious too and my conscience is fine too

I can also recommend Hillsborough Barracks, a great classic pub with a good range of beers and also live music on some nights, specially Saturdays. Same guy also owns The Sheaf View I think.

Ancient Woodland to Be Managed?
Paul Cocker replied to Moon Maiden's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Why not approach your local councellor and ask them what the plans are? I am sure they will be only too pleased to stutter and not truely know anything about it. -
There was also the Larsson look-a-like "Reggie Blinker" who went the opposite way to Celtic in the Di Canio deal.

Escafeld is also the Anglo-Saxon reference for Ecclesfield.

tbh - I'd trust your reply and actual experiences over my visual experience

Are they the same as UKAS? 0114 268 4181 Just below Broomhill? - though they are still trading.

Firvale is not a popular student area, the area is not really very close or convenient for Sheffield University and does not really have a student population. You need to be looking at Crookes, Broomhill or Ecclesall. Please check http://www.upmystreet.com If you email me I shall express a personal view rather than a public one. Paul.
