Where sells Ritter Sport Chocolate in Sheffield?
nickmunich replied to Vrsaljko's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
You can get the mini Ritters in Aldi. We were cycle touring in Denmark this summer and for a laugh, we tried to go through the whole set of Ritter bars.I've got the list somewhere of how far we got, reet funny (as they say round here) -
Parking Permits in Hillsborough.
nickmunich replied to andyk68's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
A good idea in my opinion, I live near the park and we have lots of people who work at Hills College and Swann Morton cars in our road, all week. Maybe the scheme will make people who work there use alternative transport and get a few cars off the road.I'm in favour -
You can't say things like this on this thread, how very dare you.

Who is the best artist in Sheffield?
nickmunich replied to Teabag's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I used to like McKee, but everywhere you go you now see his stuff. Its like anything that is happening in Sheffield has to use his work. Season ticket posters at SWFC, Grin Up North etc. He's good but lets have a bit of variety. -
Trim trail - Hillsborough arena
nickmunich replied to nickmunich's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
It was put in the HASA grounds to stop it getting wrecked. If anyone thinks its going to last more than a few weeks in the main bit of the park then they are living in a parallel universe. How much is it costing to pull it up, thousands I bet, this is the worst waste of cash ever. -
Trim trail - Hillsborough arena
nickmunich replied to nickmunich's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
(this post is not meant as a criticism of the staff at HASA) As I received a great deal of flak for predicting that the Trim Trail was ill thought out and a huge waste of money I would like to inform all those armchair Trim Trail supporters, most notably Fox20thc that it is being removed, dis-installed, terminated, ripped up, taken away, disappeared. As I looked out of my window yesterday, its going, bit by bit. Hardly anyone ever used it and after 2 years it will be no more. I wonder how much it cost to install and how much too remove? -
Fujitsu Job Losses - Sheffield Affected
nickmunich replied to nickyboyzuk's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Its not the laptop part of the company. Its the workers who were on the NHS account and other big contracts that have dried up. -
I think this is the first night they have done it. I am the proud owner of ticket numbers 1 and 2 for the gig in September.

ebay seller refusing to sell me U2 tickets
nickmunich replied to janeyXX's topic in General Discussions
I once sold a Jools Holland ticket for the City Hall for £3 (loss of of £22) and the bloke wanted to pick it up as well and then I had to sit next to him as he lapped up the concert. Oh how I laughed, plus Jools Holland was pants. What an ebay nightmare, but thats ebay, you win and you lose. -

Railings near shakey pub at hillsborough
nickmunich replied to locket's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I watched them doing it for a couple of minutes a few weeks back (on a Sunday morning os Wilko's), paint all over the footpath, slapping it on and even getting it on a lampost which was close the railings themselves. They looked like tradesmen taking a real pride in their work(not)
