I'm surprised there were any police left to catch him, as there's been loads of police around a house on St Aidans Rise, S2 over the last two days

Sorry to hear that you were a victim. I'm not sure if one of burglaries was in S2, but a house had five police vehicles outside for hours this morning and now there's been an officer stationed outside the property for the last few hours. Just good the police get a lead and manage to catch this gang asap.

I can see a police car parked outside 430/428 City Road (just down from the cemetery), it's been there for a while now with it's blue lights flashing. Heard a loud bang earlier, but just dismissed it, but I guess we'll find out in time what it was and if that's why the police are there.

I had my shed broken into last night. I'm in S2, thankfully nothing was taken, but the door was damaged where they broke in.

Well it was a server problem with the CCRV cameras last night. Here's the email reply I received from the council earlier:- The Council's traffic control centre, which controls the CCTV cameras,is in operation from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm from Monday to Saturday. Theproblem with the CCTV cameras was caused by failure of a computer serverovernight. The problem was rectified by our operator after he walked 4miles into work this morning. I hope you have found them helpful today.

Yeah I know, it's at times like this you really need to use them and of course they're not working :-(

Does anyone know why the Sheffield traffic CCTV cameras have all been out of action for almost four hours now? Or maybe it's a plot by the council, so we can't see where they're not gritted

I was almost right at the front of the Q as the police were stopping cars by Uncle Sams. There were 4 police car & I think 3 bikes plus a camera crew. Didnt see the accident, or know any further details sorry.

Thanks, but I forgot to say sorry my laptop still locates Wifi connections and says its connected to them. BUT (yes its a big but), it then wont open any internet pages :-(

I've got a Compaq laptop and have been using it via both wired & wireless connections for some time now, but last week it stopped connecting to the internet via wifi. This applies at home and in other wifi hotspots I've previously used it in. I havent loaded any new software etc, has anyone got any ideas on what I need to do to fix it please?

Dare I ask, who went to the HH tonight & what I miss??
