I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace mobile phone and have a lot of text stored between my son and myself in the months up to him passing away with cancer. Is there a way of saving these on my computer or flash drive. These are very special and I would like to keep them. Please help if you can. Alan

Thanks everyone for your help but decided I am not up to doing this myself.i have had my last 2comp. Built at the one stop comp. shop at Firthpark and bought the disc there but talking to Paul the owner he says it will take 5 hours to load Win. 7. With lots of updates and service packs so letting him do it for me.he is charging me 40 quid but you have to pay for experience. So thanks everyone for your input. This i don't believe i have switched it on ten minutes ago and its connected. I must have been trying for 3 hours yesterday to get it to connect also i went into system restore but no luck. Thank you very much for the offer to do it but theres no switch only a slot which is for security chain i beleave. When i try the wireless button which is F2 and fn button which i read on Google the icon in the tray near the clock flashes with 2 tv's and a strengh meter but will not conect.

I have a Dell Studio 1555 laptop running Vista. Uptill yesterday my wife has had no trouble connecting to the internet wirelessly. After my grandkids had played with it i could'nt get on to the internet.When going to conect it shows my wireless router and shows signal as exellant but when i say connect it will not. There is a red cross side of the connection icon on the task bar. I have Googled this and it says press fn+f2 which is a wireless button on the keyboard but this makes no diff. I have gone through as many settings and combinations as i think i am capable off but no luck. Please try and sort me out. Thanks

This is a Question for a Gas Safe engineer. We have a gas fire with a back boiler. We have now had a new combi boiler fitted by British Gas, they have left the old back boiler and gas fire on the wall because we didn't want to spoil the look as its a cornish slate wall. We asked British Gas to Leave gas to the gas fire so we could still use it but they said NO. Could you please tell me why we can't have the Gas fire as before but all the boiler is capped off. Could it really be done and within regulations. If so some one has got a job to do it for me.

From the wireless reciever there is a red and white plug which conects to another red and white plug leaving then a 3 mm jack plug which went into the monitor i had which has now packed up. I can buy another monitor from Maplins for £70 but would be nice if i could view on my computer monitor with some kind of addaptor. Many thanks for the info so far.
