Hi there I have been recommended by a friend to use Annie Sloan chalk paint. They used it on furniture and it looks fab. I would like to paint my interior living room doors (cheap wooden ones). I've done a bit of research on the net and found mixed reviews and wondered if anyone on here has used it. Its quite expensive and I don't mind if it works well, but I would like an honest opinion. thanks Godzilla, the robot did as you said, but my mum knew that I had a hosp app by this time. I had to explain what this was for so she knew it wasnt major.. I did not want to say, but it is for the gynealogical dep. Not something you want to discuss with people

Ive been due to go for a minor op at Hallamshire Hospital. They said on the phone they would send appointment out by post. This was 6 days ago, no post from them. I had 4 missed calls on my mobile today(withheld). I was at work so phone was on silent unfortunatly. I had a phonecall from my mum, who said the hospital outomated service had rang regarding a date!...ive had no letter regarding an appointment, but more to the point, my mum is my next of kin in case of emergency! I do not think the hosp should have got in contact with her, I dont live with her! I had not discussed my hospital treatment with her. This is not a confidential service, very annoyed (to be polite). I will ring them tomorrow to find out what has happend, but now I have had to tell my mum everything, something I did not wish to do!!

I have decided I would like to become a foster carer in the near future. I meet all the criteria apart from I currently live in a 1 bedroom council rented flat. I wondered if Sheffield Council would be willing to offer me a property with a spare bedroom before I apply to be a carer? I know there are hundreds of fabulous foster carers in Sheffield and wondered if someone had been in the same position.

Is it big enough for adults?
