I personally don't think they're paid to much. Sheffield homes evaluated and graded them a level 6 , Sheffield council have evaluated the position a grade 4. Differences in pay average £5k pa. Even if they accepted the pay cut Sheffield council says they are to higher grade to do the job (crazy). The warden service will still be in place but with new staff.

The wardens have been re-graded after Sheffield Homes went back under Sheffield council. They are now on to higher grade to be wardens and will be "moved" to new posts within the council next year.

Doing the Dronfield 10k on Sunday. What should we expect, is it hilly? Think we'll be ok on the distance, done plenty of 5k's and odd 7.5 last few weeks just not had much practice on hills...
