  1. This is in their FAQ, hope it helps: Are there any restrictions on the attractions? Yes, height restrictions apply and there is a list of other restrictions (dependent on the ride) and general information at the entry point to each attraction. Our average girth restriction is 52 inches. However, as a result of customer feedback, we have introduced seats on our Nemesis and Oblivion rides accommodating a girth size of 54 inches. For more detailed height, girth and general restrictions, please see signage at the ride entrance
  2. I'm not a massive foodie, and i prefer to cook with friends rather than eat out, but in my opinion there are too many chain restaurants in Sheffield, especially in the city centre, but there are good restaurants, you just have to hunt them out, La Scala and Christians in Millhouses for example.....
  3. thought i would let you know that he's come back, a little worse for wear, looks like he might have hurt his lip, but otherwise seems ok............. so happy
  4. Please help, my cat went missing yesterday from the Totley Brook rd area, he is a large, grey, fluffy car, can't miss him, he's part maine coon. He rarely goes out and never stays out for long periods of time so this is very unusual. He answers to the name of Spock but is extremely timid, he doesn't like people at all so i doubt he has gone into someones house, but please if you live in Totley or the surrounding area can you have a quick look in your gardens, sheds, greenhouses etc.... Please pm me if you have any details. Thank you.
  5. if it's from a few months ago it may have been me! know someone who lost their much loved mog on chesterfield rd, i have pm'd billigoat who has kindly offered to have a look for me...

  8. I got swept under by the wave machine at ponds forge when i had just learnt to swim, all my own fault but I've never been so scared, ever.
  9. Well to be honest if it's a one off and you warn them then there isn't really much to complain about! as long as you don't take it too far and have music blaring out at 4am like my parents neighbours, every fri and sat I wouldn't be too bothered if it was just one time and didn't happen every weekend!
  10. I'll fend them off, i like you, you defended my cheap primark UGG boots aaaaaaages ago, and i haven't forgotten!
  11. SF meets, how did i not know this..........
  12. Sheffield is fab, i love it and you can never have too many friends!
  13. I had this problem when i had a party for my 21st in August, in the end i decided it wasn't fair on the neighbours to have loud music blasting out late at night, as i would hate it if i needed to sleep but couldn't because next door had music pounding through my walls. So i decided to start the party early, 4ish, had the music at a reasonable volume, then at around 9 we all headed to the local pub then into town so we could carry on the party without upsetting the neighbours. Luckily i have nice neighbours who i don't think would mind anyway, but still i wouldn't want to put up with it so i didn't want do it to them. All you can do is let them know and hope they don't report you!
