Our crew Pearl Rockers damce in Forum on thursday nights. We use to run a night there on Monday nights few months ago. Also recently won the Uk popping crew champs. which was good to do to get sheffield back on the map, like it use to be in the 80's on the popping scene. Still do see allot of the old skool crew around. who can ever forget smack 19 and alstar rockers. peace

senwar - you must know the old skool crews then? Yeah things have changed with breakdancing these days. You see allot of people just do the dance part now and thats all. A breakdancer can only dance. A b-boy/B-girl is a life style and breakdancing is a part of that life style. If you wanna see a good breakdancer look at what they are doing to the music. Do they move to the music or just jumping around! Yeah there are some breakdancers in Vodka rev just local talent I think nothing on the internation stage I don't think so. Yeah i know a few breakdancing crews in turkey...they are good! I don't really know anywhere in sheffield that teaches kids as young as that. Yeah we train at the hallam uni but we are not students there...its just that they have a good hall to train in. Anyway email me and we take it from there. hi I use to teach at the forum. Had no time to teach anymore because of competing and prcess of shooting a instructional dvd on breaking and popping and various other projects...very busy time of the year. Welll if you still want to learn we do train at the uni....your wellcome to come along to that and we wont mind teaching ya and its proberly better in the sence that there is just 4 of 5 of in there so you wont have other people looking at ya while you learn. mainly in the evenings or weekends. Yeah maily popping but we do have some up and coming breakers...I dont know firefly personaly but i seen her break she is good man. yeah there anit much popping crew around at the moment because allot of people that pop just normaly go solo. yeah man china is tuff i went to visit there in jan and it was amazing and allot of b-boy/girls out there.

are you enjoying it out there.....i thinking of doing teaching english somewhere in asia. My friends doing it in china and hes having a good time. when you back then? when did you leave the breaking and popping sceene is really picking up here now allot of b-boys and b-girls entring national competion. I use to do allot in manchester and leeds and london....but since i been teaching popping in sheffield i just mainly do it in sheffield now...just trying to build sceene along with the rest of the crew. hope to have it even stronger man peace

So have u picked many things up from the breakers out there in korea. but there is a good sceene with allot of breakers and poppers in sheffield now. Feels like usa lol peace

Hey dude I dident say you don't know much about Breaking or Popping! Sorry if it sounded like that. And I don't know if its the same sammy we are talking about because know a few Sammy's that do breakdancing so maybe I'm talking about a different one. "I'm not a fighter im a dancer" "Man everone has their opnion if you ever see Rubot pop then youll know what really popping is or is you see a guy doing 24 lock in his hand then thats popping" Seriously man I'm just messing with ya I got love for all the dancers apart from the once that wanna fight because they lost a battle.

Lol i met elsewhere ...i lost out to him in the audition to the vw advert.......you seen the add.....yeah that guy can do amazing things with his body./.....but he cant do good at body popping competitons because you get points for pulling of certain moves rather then just doing strange things with your body...but i think hes amazing...................also look out for a popper from frace called salah.....hes really good and funny to watch.

Yes i danced in bed night club but there are loads of guys thats done stuff for tv. So I don't know if they were pointing at me. Im gonna be on t4 in July popping on the advert for the show. peace and respect....."best popper on this planet is mr wiggles" and i been to his electric boogaloo class hehe if your in to popping hes the don also look out for movie "WILD STYLES" aNNA I DONT know if it was me you was looking at because i know allot of dancers in sheffield and around uk thats been on allot of tv stuff:) But yes I'm from Pearl Rockers and we been jamming for a long long time. its a pitty bed had to close down because i never really use to go much in there because i dident think the dancers were that good in there. My usual spot in down south for going out to dance. There are allot of dancers up in sheffield but mainly beginers. But have to say back in the days sheffield was on top form for popping and breaking. But yeah i dont really go out to pop much because too busy teaching and usually doing allot of work dancing in bars and clubs in manchester and leeds at the moment.
