  1. Cheers for the replies. I am already using fl and was thinking about upgrading to cubase or logic (well, maybe just cubase now apple owns logic), and the problem i have is when layering several synths + effects. I'd like to be able to listen to what i've done and edit accordingly without have to keep rendering the project everytime i make a change. And maybe start recording my own percussion. Another quick couple of questions though. 1 can a mac be upgraded like a pc? and 2 how does acid pro compare to cubase/logic?
  2. Looking to buy a desktop pc specifically for making electronic music on. Can anyone point me in the direction of shops selling suitable pc's (off the shelf) or someone who can build a custom? Thanks.
  3. Would you be willing to give this position to somebody who is 'under qualified' and offer some training?
  4. i recommend http://www.paulsvaleting.co.uk
  5. ideally we would like a 42" (lcd) but the telly hasn't been purchased yet so could be bought to suit the bracket requirements.
  6. Could anyone point me in the direction of a company who could design and make a undershelf pull out/flip up bracket for a flatscreen tv. Trawled google with no luck. Thanks
  7. I for one am glad i live in a country where two consenting adult males are able to be imprisoned by law for buggering each other.

  9. it's been a while, so why not go for the old 'satisfied customer' approach again? http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=174045&page=2
  10. Of course. Another point though, they call from withheld numbers (only found this out after though).
  11. Just a quick heads up to anyone selling through admag. I recently had a xbox360 advertised (S Yorks & E Mids editions) and a bloke (late 20's, shaven head, 5'6, chipped front tooth) who came to buy tried palming me off with a bunch of fake 20's. The bloke appeared to know some local shops although i did have a call previous to his asking details, along with a ridiculously low offer and asking if i'd deliver to leicester. They were the £20 notes with Adam Smith on the back and were fairly good copies (had holograms and silver strip) but they all have the same number on the back and the paper feels a bit 'light'. So don't be afraid of appearing rude and double check those notes.
  12. sheffield city centre to chesterfield centre is at least £25 so im guessing it would be more than that
  13. this... driving along the ring road at 4 in the morning, getting stopped at numerous sets of traffic lights for 2 minutes at a time when there is sod all traffic then realising that the long way round (10 miles extra) via the m1 is actually quicker
