I have just had new carpets and have loads of carpet offcuts (some quite large) and 2 part rolls of new underlay FREE for collection from S2 Lower manor , useful for weed control perhaps?

Cant believe whats just happened, I was waiting to cross the road a BBC Radio Sheffield Car drove past me and the driver was talking on a mobile phone whilst driving the car ! I rang Radio Sheffield when I got back and told the person on the other end what I had just witnessed and she started talking to someone else asking if they had the weather? Totally oblivious to the fact that I am actually speaking to her !! I asked her if her conversation was relevant to my call and she's says " no i'm just talking to my colleague and theres no need to be aggressive " !!!! I have never in my life had this misfortune to speak to such an ignorant person I wish I had taken the car registration number and reported it to the police instead. Standards at the BBC have obviously slipped to the lowest levels possible

My dad has got those too Gordon he's also got his cap and the last official issue SYT timetable for Sheffield/Rotherham and Barnsley/Doncaster. He's got a S.T.D Conductors Ready Reckoner for £sd. He's also got S.T.D rules regulations and working instructions for drivers and conductors from 1969.

My parents met whilst working at the Pavilion in the 50's . My dad was chief projectionist and my mum was an usherette.

A few weeks ago I donated 4 bags of stuff to their shop most of it was brand new with tags on or in still in boxes and never even got a thank you , in fact the staff were too busy talking about the previous night out and didn't even acknowledge that I was there !! I emailed rain rescue and never got a reply! That says it all . Manners cost nothing .
