  4. Go to the computer fair at the Don Valley Stadium the first weekend of every month & they are £1-50. I bought a Photo cyan for my pixma 6000d £1-50.
  5. hi pitsmoorboy. 1942 -1966 I lived on Johnson St. off Nursery at this time & we played with these people as children.Marshalls & whittakers lived in the yard next to Whitby & Chandlers.This factory was where my dad got the old machine belts from to sole our shoes with.
  6. Help needed with Microsoft powerpoint. After I put a picture or some text onto a slide it takes ages for it to move onto the next bit of work. I have tried to save the work after every action to cut down the time but it is a very slow process. If I dont save it often then it takes ages when I want to shut it down. I have 512Mb memory do you think I want more?

  9. get your water company on line & you can get an estimate of how much you use & how much it will cost. We did this & I think we will save Quite a bit of money also it stops you wasting water.

  15. Contact the W.E.A. in Sheffield & they may be able to help you because they have just published a book about the steel industry. The Kelham Island museum & the central library also have copies of this book,so have I.

  17. Yes it must have been the coldest water in Britain,but,still great. We used to walk it from the Wicker to there,I can`t see the young uns doing it now.
