We are told to save the planet by only putting enough water into the kettle to make a cup of tea or coffee.Thus saving power.If I put a cupfull of water in my kettle it would not cover the heater in the kettle.Resulting in maybe a fire.Some older people may not realise this & their lives could be at risk.

Don`t do it or you will be sorry.Wait for Windows 7 coming out.

I have had nothing but problems with Vista.I made a mistake switching to It.Just downloaded the service pack & It has created more problems.Going to see if i can restore it back a day or two.

Just downloaded the Vista service pack & it has made a right mess of the display.All the words are in very small text the web pages are only half the width & if you alter them to a higher magnification when you come of the page it is back to the original size.Vista is a joke.

Could someone explain to me why it costs the same for a single ticket from Manchester Airport to Sheffield as it do`s for a return ticket from Sheffield to Manchester Airport.There is probably a perfectly good reason for this but as of yet I cannot think of one.Greed came to mind.

Don`t want to put a dampener on it but Virgin promised us 10mb but sometimes we only get 0.8mb up to 4mb.So be careful what you buy.I should wait & see what speed you get first.

I have got the same problem. I used a wired router to connect my new P.C. with Vista to my old P.C. with X.P. I cannot share anything between the P.C.s And the map shows that my computers are not linked but They are both on the net & the e-mail works O.K. I think it is Vista that is at fault because nothing I have seems to work with Vista(printers, scanner).I have downloaded drivers to both machines but cannot get anything to share.I have been at it for over a week now & am just about to uninstall & start all over again.GRRR

Of course they should be allowed to settle in this country & receive all the pension rights of ex-servicemen here.

Got it all sorted now.I bought a Netgear wired router from Maplins.Cheers everyone.
