My dad Walter Jennings (part time cockle seller) worked at Treeton from about 1970 up until the miners strike. Sadly he died in 2004 aged 66 He did have fond memories of working with his mates down the pit and he used to tell us stories about what they used to get up to.

I have heard that the TA will be moving out of their site at Manor Top and moving to Hillsborough. I have also heard that a new Asda will be built on the site. Has anyone else heard the same?

Can anyone please recommend a bring your own wine restaurant? It's mine and Alemonster's wedding anniversary soon and we'd like to celebrate. Don't mind which type of food is on offer. Thanks

I'm Alemonster's wife and i was very angry and upset when my husband told me about the incident. I wonder if it was the 3 chavs that attacked my husband who also attacked bhunaboy. You dont feel safe walking about in broad daylight any more.
