For your info Sibon I know a few people that have reported it for long enough and nothing changes they just come up with excuses time after time.

You make me laugh Planner one if lost the count the times I've seen parking wardens around walkley, Hillsborough and other Areas but Fire Vale? Very very Rare if at all. Just recently I drove past Hillsborough Park bottom Car Park n guess what the parking wardens was in there checking around Half a dozen cars that was in there and on my travels minutes later went through Fir Vale and loads of cars parked everywhere DOUBLE YELLOW Lines etc all at mosque not a Warden in sight and it's an everyday problem down there so you tell me where's the fairness there.

Iv just been reading that the council are to put up parking charges in all areas in Sheffield Including Fir Vale ?? I had to laugh cos its a free for all down there even on double yellow lines across footpaths or anywhere they like and you NEVER see a parking warden at all ??

What you don't appear to realise is if what your saying more traffic moves when they are in front of the tram cos the lights stay on green longer then it is stopping traffic flowing in the other directions thus causing congestion like i said in my other post in places like Wadsley lane you can be sat there quite some time more so if another tram comes the other way the tram alters the signals so middlewood Rd traffic goes on green 4/5 times before Wadsley lane traffic have even moved n that's just this one junction which must happen elsewhere?

One of the biggest causes of congestion in Hillsborough is the tram if lost count of times I've been sat waiting for the tram to come through lights and God forbid if another tram is coming the other way your then sat for ages as it affects the traffic flow, But yet if the lights fail the traffic sorts it's self out and flows better.

Whatever you call it it's a form of tax no matter how small it's not just at millhouses park it's happening at a lot of places all over so it's not just a one off 40p as you state and some people for whatever reason cannot use a bike or buses.You might be one of the luckier ones with good health etc but be careful fore what you wish for because one day YOU may not be.

Everybody who works or has worked over the years has contributed to society my point is where do you draw the line in taxing people.ok then should we charge cyclists rouse the roads should they pay tax n insurance or should we charge people to use the parks or other so called free amenities or tax people who use buses? No it wouldn't be right would it!!!

So what your saying Planner1 it's ok to make the Motorist contribute even MORE to society no matter how small the charges are in that ONE particular area what about the Charges like you say for shopping,Schools,Banks,etc just to name a few as you say it already costs around £3.5k to run a car and within in that a large amount to use the roads already. Where do do we STOP penalising the Motorist!!! .Don't forget included in our council Tax we also contribute just like everyone else. Planner1 what planet do you live on the traffic at leppings lane is more built up now than it was before even at peak times you are queueing at each Rd on this junction so no improvement there but out of peak times you rarely saw queue's but now your sat there when previously you wasn't:loopy: BIG improvement

Yes I know Alan instead of traffic flowing as before you now have standing traffic on all the junctions even when the road is quieter so much for an improvement

I think they should put a roundabout at the junction with Leppings lane and do away with the traffic lights.

Bramall's Gold room used to sell them on Herries Rd South opp Wednesday Ground.

There is a meeting arranged for tomorrow 4pm to 6:30pm at hillsborough interchange for everyone affected so people from Wadsley,Loxley and Wisewood areas should go down there and express your dissatisfaction with the changes we should still have a direct route to the city centre from these areas its a disgrace and many people will be affected more so in the winter.

Just for your info....Yorkshire water are not responsible for drinking water pipes after the boundary.
