to race my radio controlled car, only places i know are bolehills and a place near meadowhall , both are a bit unsuitable , so any ideas ? please even if its old industrial wasteland or field etc or car parks etc

to be honest i need it like a outdoors track with gravel etc , as im planning on taking my radio controlled car to it. thanks snickers anyway. still need more places people , i dont mind is its a bit out in the country etc

try hillsborough steel stock on halifax raod, they will supply , cut to length and deliver , and you will get it cheapest as they are steel stockholders, just go up there into the office and they will get you a quote for what you want. they tend to do smaller steel mind you , so the other one that tends to do bigger steel is hillfoot steel, one of them should be able to help you out . just ring them and see

thought on street parking was free on sundays in sheffield , i think it is on that road that is near the top of fargate with the winter gardens on it , not 100% sure though

kjs fisheries is a good place , its on station lane , lots of fish in their 4 ponds. few more round there that they own , one is on boilie lane thats is good too , plus split ponds at aston has a fair few fish in the 4-5 ponds. there is a pond of herries road that costs £30 for the year but its not great but cheap , one or 2 big fish but very rarely caught. but i think you have to live locally or know someone who is a member, go and ask though as they are nice enough fella's and will tell you if your interested. if you want any around the donny area and you have a car let me know and i will give you more info im sure im forgetting a few too at the moment

thought hillsborough park got all the carp taken out about 2 years ago ? i maybe wrong but i read a story about something like that. there were 7-8 around the 28lb mark if i remember right. its got a horrible amount of leaves etc on the pond floor though, might be tough fishing but go for it , let us know how you get on. you after big carp or coarse carp mate i may be able to help you some more if i know what type of fishermna you are . i know loads of places, some amazing places too . my record is a 24lb common carp on the pole ;-D from a very unknown fishery

not many free ones im afraid unless you count the rivers and canals etc and they may be part of a club, marshalls pond at riverlin is fishing well, go past the admiral rodney and turn left . also another pond that way i cant remember the name, heading towards the admiral rodney take the first left after the wisewood inn, its part of the old canal . there is another one out in dungerowrth/dungworth thats got some nice bream around 5lb in, all these fisheries cost though about a fiver for the day i know pleanty more but the best fisheries all cost and are around the donny area.

also if we are going to meet up shouldnt we have a gang name like the vipers or summat ;-)

you can count me in neeeek, im up for having a bash with ya . just trying to think of a decent place maybe the old bmx track up walkley would be a good area ? (think its called bolehills or summat ). any other suggestions for a meet up ?
