bigsexydoug replied to bigsexydoug's topic in Sheffield Gamers
Thank you, yeah you guessed right, just never got on with cod but do like first and third person shoot em ups, plenty for me now to get bought and get playing -
Been to Silverstone a few times so not really excited by going there and by the time you add on a hotel seems a bit much for a weekend, would rather pay roughly the same and see a totally different racetrack

I'm determined to see an f1 race live this year, can anyone recommend which circuit in Europe is best for getting a decent view and cost effective and if anyone knows any good f1 specialist travel companies ? I really like Germany as a country but having never been to an actual race im a bit wary. Wish I had gone sooner ....when McLaren used to be good :-(

If you use eurochange (you can collect or have it delivered) ,use the code VIP2015TM and it will give you a better rate , they are normally the best or around the best rates every time we order -

Super Nintendo entertainment system - snes Retro Console from the 90's ---------- Post added 10-04-2016 at 07:12 ---------- At the moment, nothing loading , red power light is on, does it need the red/yellow/white av cable or can it just use the standard rf cable on its own ? Can't remember it's been that long ? -
Has anyone got a working snes ? I've just decided to sell mine on eBay and was going to make sure the games work but it looks like my snes has given up on life so I can't test them ? Just wanted to try them out beforehand if anyone can spare the time ?

Does anyone know if the snake pass is open fully ? -
You might be able to save a small amount of cash and get hd added and cancel sports as f1 comes as part of the hd pack....but just check with sky first that it's still the case !

The nhs, pedalos , robot vacuum cleaners & zumba classes..
bigsexydoug replied to bigsexydoug's topic in General Discussions
Yes because it shouldn't be up to the nhs to sort out it's staff's health problems unless they are a patient, its called personal responsibility, if they can't manage to look after their own health then maybe they are in the wrong profession. regarding the holiday to Majorca Why aren't they the same cyclone ? Both are personal bills and affect health of the nhs staff in the report saying stress is a major issue that would solve the stress surely ? can you see now why your on such a slippery slope with these bills ? The only answer now you have is agree with me or be hypocritical ! Which is it ? -

bigsexydoug replied to bigsexydoug's topic in General Discussions
i get the intent always have, however the cost being met by the taxpayer is an insult to nhs patients in my opinion, example: breaks aka holidays are proven to improve mental health agreed ? so the nhs should pay for staff to go to majorca once a year full cost to be met by johnny taxpayer right ? im away for a week now so will reply when i get the chance -

bigsexydoug replied to bigsexydoug's topic in General Discussions
No it's a concept still as it can't be proven ! Can you prove zumba prevents colds ? if its so certain that zumba will help why arent they garuanteeing that every single nhs worker , in fact every worker in the uk is getting zumba classes ? could you imagine the money and time saved with it ? would be billions ! However generally healthier people probably do take less sick days. you know that, however like the vast majority of people nhs staff should have to keep themselves relatively healthy to do their job and not expect the public at large to pick up their personal bills when the nhs themselves claim cuts are harming patients, it's hypocrisy pure hypocrisy. If by some miracle we become so rich that money is no object the nhs can have it's own zumba teacher for each hospital. Genuine question, why are you so against taking proof from the priavte sector and applying it to the nhs ? -
Slightly off topic, but I thought it was against eu rules to have state owned companies, hence the sale of royal mail, I'm well aware of the fact that the French and germans ignore this fact with their own state owned services, but how would he get them through into real life. Also Labour has pro eu for many years now, so how would jc get these through his own party ?

bigsexydoug replied to bigsexydoug's topic in General Discussions
Obviously as the op, I've read the entire thread and can't think of anywhere I've seen that it's being denied ,in fact I would say everyone has agreed with that, just getting to that point of being healthy and who's responsibilty it is to pay for that bad been well argued so far. -

bigsexydoug replied to bigsexydoug's topic in General Discussions
Because it's nothing more than a concept ! Yet there is proof in the private sector what actually works ! And it's a 5 million pounds concept/gamble that could be used to actually save real lives save people's eyesight and change thousands of lives. Not to mention a poster has already said a scheme like this but with yoga has already been tried and failed. Why are you so desperate to gamble the nhs money away when the proof already exists what works ! -

bigsexydoug replied to bigsexydoug's topic in General Discussions
No idea when you are going to do them, and I don't doubt that you were genuinely working when ill, but would you rather see this money allocated to patient care instead of zumba classes ? Doesn't it just seem a daft idea when the nhs is crying out for investment ? -

I believe the poster was going to try and get a scenario across but hasn't reposted since. I can see though if you had skipped to the last page it might look like that.
