  1. I remember as a kid playing at Deepcar Railway station. My mum use to walk to station with me as a kid and go to Sheffield and Barnsley on the train.
  2. Stocksbridge/Deepcar are the nicest places to live in Sheffield and if anyone would like to swap there place in Stocky or Deepcar for mine please let me know. I lived there 35 years and wished i had never moved away.
  3. lol! thought you weren't with it yet...your usually on the ball with things.
  4. Your being a bit judgemental neeeeeeeeeeek, and you haven't spelt 'Sheffield' properly in your title. And anyway which nerd in the council (many years ago) decided to plant trees in foot paths outside houses. They destroy footpaths with the large roots they grow.
  5. I do sympathise with you, your best staying in where you are, Bolsterstone is a lovely place and so pictureque when its snowing.
  6. I could get into work on time but was phoned by my employer not to go as the shop was closing. I wondered if i would get paid, because they would not stay open so i can earn my wage.
  7. At last 'The licensing board' have got the rules on display for customers. I hope you are going to announce it in the 'Star' Redrobbo? Also to remind customers to get there badge and plate number if their not happy with what they are charged.
  8. missflirtuk don't rely on anyone to get you a job. There is only you can do it. Set a goal and go for it.
  9. Oh yea! Emma Harrison her that hands out the tea and biscuits to her staff. LMFAO.
  10. I think 'golfer1' has issues..... Nowt wrong wi Stocky at all.
  11. The goverment funded private job brokers have not got much idea of getting anyone into work, as most of the staff have never been through the process of what it is like to get a job when living on benefits.
  12. Two choices then...put up with it or don't live there.
  13. So i wonder how long they will look as they do before they get finished. Maybe they could be made into prison cells.
  14. The people are mixed ages with more of a older population. Kids and teenagers tend to be on the 'Batemoor' side of the estate. Shops are a bit sparse and it is not far from some nice countryside. A little tight on the road for parking a car though.
