I know what you mean about the rose tinted nostalgia, but some are timeless and really enjoyable. I've recently discovered some games I never knew about as s kid, me and some mates have been having a great time re-discovering our youth.

Hi all, just seeing if there is anyone like myself interested in collecting or playing retro games and consoles, such as the Nintendo NES, SNES and N64, Sega Mastersystem, Megadrive and Saturn? Would be interested in hearing you thoughts, experiences and recommendations of games or consoles from the era? Also are there any shops local to the Sheffield that stock the earlier consoles and titles that are worth a visit? Hope this is the correct section to post this. Well the credit cruch and soaring metal prices means this World Cup year their cardboard as opposed to the coins we used to get. I loved these as a kid and as my glove box has an increasing pile I need to try an complete them before England go out. Hopefully not tomorrow!
