  1. Have taken a look at this family - according to the 1939 register they did live 378 Coleridge Road. There seems to be 3 daughters Dora, Ethel and Isabella and a son Norman.

Isabella's married name was Hayman or Hyman and Dora's was Leadbeater. Ethel's was Pearson

  4. If this is the correct family- Georges daughter Annie married George William Barker in 1895. On the 1901 census they have two daughters Edith M born 1897 and Ellen W born 1900.

George Willford and daughter Annie can be found on some of the census returns living with Solomon Beardsley and his wife Ellen. Perhaps that is why she named her daughter Ellen!

Also after Solomon Beardsley died in 1923 he left £360 1s 6d to Annie Barker wife of Geo Wm Barker

  5. A little bit of info - James Willford married Margaret Hembrough - Yarborough,Lincolnshire in 1837

George William Willford had a daughter Annie born 1868 - in 1881 he is a widower. The 1871 census shows his wife as Martha and there is a marriage for George to Martha Foster in 1866

  6. Well thats strange because I have Vista and have both Documents and My Documents. When I open windows explorer and click on the Documents it opens no problems. When I go to My documents or My Pictures it says access refused. Obviously its not a problem because I can access my files but I wonder why I am refused access.

  7. Its coming up to my 50th anniversary of my stay in the Northern General. 19th July 1966 I was taken in and 26th July had part of my lung removed. I seem to recall being in intensive care when England won the world cup. The prognosis was limited life style but 50 years on I am still quite fit and the mother of three children. Happy days.
