Real Ale was £2.30 a pint when I was in last weekend. They had Wentworth & Kelham island Christmas ales on.

With an average gate of less than 27,000 the Blades don't need a 33,000 seater stadium either!

So after all the huffing and puffing it all boils down to "Its ours". And its only ever had football on it? I think not. Did we not play County Cricket on our ground.

Wigan are still playing on it.They relaid it during the summer and they are in a higher league than either Sheffield club. So basically whats your problem? If Wigan can do it so can the Blades.

Wigan Athletic and Wigan Warriors ground share and they don't seem to have any major issues with the state of the pitch.

Is that soccer?

The Milestone at Kelham Island does Cocktails 2-4-1 on Thursday evenings.

Its getting ever more difficult to find pubs with Sky & Setanta. I believe about 20% of pubs have not renewed thier subs for this new season. Not surprising when subs can be about £900 per month.

I think the Milestone Sunday lunch is now £9.95 and a pint of Wentworth is £1.85. Not a fortune!

Don't forget the Superleague Grand Final at Old Trafford is live on Sky saturday evening 4th October. Now that is worth watching!

These awards are worthless as they are based on website voters and have nohing to do with the quality of the restaurant/bar. So the more voters the better. You do not even need to have been in the bar/restaurant to vote. Quality bar/restaurants should boycott the awards next year if they are repeated.
