Thanks to the police officer that sent us an ASBO letter, while he was totally innocent and protested this to the police officer the officer asked for his details saying he believed him and that he was in no trouble and that it was just to help them ect with their inquiries. More like using my son as a scapegoat for his crappy policing and fear of the statistics that show just how good they are not at their jobs. Advice for anyone, kids or adults, do not offer them any information, not even your name and definitely don't fall for any help us with our inquiries lie. Let them do inquiries to find out who YOU are if your innocent, don't make the mistake my lad and have it cost you getting a record with them for nothing.

I don't know,we heard a lot of tough talk from Cameron about immigration ect to get elected, and he certainly does not mind bringing in policies that are controversial (well with his own peoples at least). Maybe its just that no one has ever thought about it ? Just hope someone comes across this forum and thinks its something to consider if its not already a policy that is practiced. I don't see why its not normal practice, maybe it is ? it should be if not because its logical. Does anyone now for sure if they revoke asylum or not, and/or indeed if its at all possible ? Im not sure how it works, I assume that you have to be fleeing a ruling party and not actually be the ruling party that has lost power. Besides the fact that the people as soon as they are running the country properly will want to get justice legally and as long as we recognize their right to do that or take the cases on yourself in the Hague, then that would be acceptable and anyone wanting to evade that would be seen as trying to evade justice and not warranting asylum. Its got a lot to do with how we view the legitimacy of governments and have confidence in their capacity for justice.

Its better than your solution which appears to be come here for asylum, here's a passport and the job center is that way, hope you get a job and the local population out of work don't take offence to you. I know which message I would sooner give out to any would be migrant coming here to float our systems of compassion for economic reasons. There is no real solution as such, all we can do is tighten our belts as the people seeking to come here escalates in order t give the real claimants a chance. What exactly is the problem with revoking a status no longer valid ?

Im not sure how long it is to be honest, Im sure there ill be a limit in which we must then grant people permanent residence. Anyone know what it is ? I know every so often they admit defeat and then let everyone stay, just to get the figures off the chart so they can start again and calm everyone down because it looks out of control.

Having a better infrastructure to support people should most defiantly not be what its about but it all to often boils down to that. Once the threat to life or what ever constitutes warranting asylum is removed then they cannot in effect be in need of asylum, its pretty basic for us all to grasp but Im sure we won't.

Asylum that is being abused is always out of control. The people that come here and don't get it just sneak in anyhow or don't leave, we can't keep track and end up letting everyone stay just because we have not kept a grip and can't regain the initiative. So why would it be so difficult to say that all those that can go back should ? If the grounds of your request are no longer valid then we should be obliged to re look at the granting of the asylum status, its not difficult and its a start.

What is hard to understand ? If people have been granted citizenship then they are not asylum seekers and exempt from what the topic is about. Anyone not classed as asylum seeker are obliged to get a job and pay into the system like the rest of us are they not ? Unless you are like the others that assume that raising a topic about immigration/asylum automatically puts you in a certain bracket of person ? In which case your one of the reasons why we can't have a practical debate about it in this country, nothing will get solved and the divide will grow wider.

Direct and to the point. That's exactly how we should be looking at this and not as an attack on anyone, this is about getting a Policy right and one that is fair. The more it seems to be out of control the thinner peoples charity will get and then one day we will find ourselves in a situation where we are calling to turn everyone away and deport everyone, pretty much how the BNP would like it. Do nothing and you will drive people to that way of thinking for sure.

Not having benefits at all would save money, its all down to the level of morality you deem acceptable. If people here are in need then i would say its our obligation, if people come here for the same level of compassion then I would say they are treating kindness as a weakness. Call me what you wish but charity should always begin at home.

Your probably right, maybe its a contradiction. Lets just say I don't support the notion that it needs cleaning up of people living here before we look at others coming here and also taking whats not deserved. The fact that people here on the dole costs more because their is more of them should not come into it, the fact that we have people here claiming benefit or even working while we have unemployment is another issue and not really on topic but nether the less not irrelevant.

I wasn't I was making the point that a thief is as bad as an armed robber, both are illegal and have victims and should be treat with equal vigilance. Now the fact that people here have been found in their situation through home grown policy and are people that 'live here' and will have/have had previous generations pay into the system that supports us, should also make some difference. Now anyone not drawing the distinction between someone coming here and milking the system and someone born here and milking the system probably will never get to agree that immigration is an issue so it would be a waste of time arguing the point. I don't like anyone that lives here milking tax money but slightly less than someone coming here to do it.

I have to disagree, anyone abusing the system is an abuser whether abusing the benefits system as a citizen or person of asylum/immigration and should be equally dealt with with contempt. How do you draw the conclusion that someone with British citizenship should be worse ?
