Thanks owdlad, right now, I am just getting a feel for how many Pitcocks may be around the Sheffield or general area. I do not wish to delve into anyones privacy. Maybe one day, I can make a journey around the area there and since my brother had found that the Pitcock name may have originated around Sheffield, I was just curious. There are many Sheffield last names in my area here in Kentucky. Thanks for your message. Greatly appreciated as I hear more from the Sheffield forums. Thanks!

Hello from Kentucky. I had heard from my brother during his family tree lookin' that the family name of Pitcock had come from the Sheffield, Bakewell area. I would be interested in hearing if anyone knows of anyone with this last name. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.
