I'm looking for someone to make me an offer on the entire furnishings of my house in Netheredge. It includes good condition furniture for every room, lounge, dining room, two bedrooms and a kitchen. I'm confident that if I had the time or patience to put the stuff on ebay I would - but I haven't got either!!! If anyone is interested in clearing it out and potentially making a decent bit of money from the sale of the furnishings then let me know. I've got to commute to leeds and back tomorrow.....I'm such a panicker!!! Does anyone have any thoughts on whether or not I should brave it or is it too risky to travel? Every site has a different severity of warning on it its so confusing!!!! I'm a nervy driver anyway so might be panicking for no reason but I'd appreciate thoughts of other commuters if poss? ps. i drive a clio. Not great in snow.

The thing is.....if you have to travel a long way, motorways etc to work, its a real panic. I wish there was a way that we could get a more accurate report. It says that there is an amber warning for Yorkshire and the Humber with a risk of snow from tonight through until the morning. So, I guess you just can't do anything but look out the window. Its the decision of whether its too risky to travel or not incase it gets worse. Who wants to get stuck at work overnight or if last year is anything to go by....for the week!!!

Genesis on ecclesall road is amazing for all things beautiful. Trinkets, paper, cards, smelly's, sweet treats. All really unique I've never seen anything like it. Went in for the first time a couple of weeks ago and will be going back for any gift I need in the near future. It was the best I've been in in ages. Hope you get something nice!!!

I reckon you'd probably have to have completed the course in order to be covered by the gym's insurance.....? Not sure tho, Zest Community Centre in Upperthorpe have volunteers which might be good for experience and they are a really nice bunch. good luck!

Can anyone provide me with a rough idea on cost of painting a full house? Basically, its just a couple of coats of magnolia required in two reception rooms, a hallway, 2 floors of stairs and landings, and one bedroom. All paint provided. Skirting boards need glossing too. I imagine it to be a quick job for the speedy roller, just pushed for time before finally moving in and would rather have it all done before moving things in. Its painting over woodchip wallpaper (needs must ) Any ideas or reccommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I need a quote for a 4 bedroomed house over 3 floors. The current system is about 20 years old, if not older, and the piping is a mixture of copper, lead and a number of bodge jobs over the years. Not by me!! I've been advised that the whole lot needs re-doing, and it needs a new boiler. The hot water is currently on an emmersion heater. I would like to know how long this kind of job would take, and offers for quotes from relevant tradesmen. Any reccommendations for plumbers also welcomed!!! Thanks
