i think its sorted no coz if i just use tmpgenc and select the output as pal, it seems to work fine

i have a divx movie at 23.9fps if i wanted to encode it for playing on an english dvd player, could i just encode it as a pal dvd using something like Tmpgenc or would i have to encode it as an ntsc dvd? and would an ntsc dvd play on a pal dvd player? any thoughts??

yeh thanks, i managed to finally uninstall all codecs then put the nemo pack on that works better as i can adjust brightness/contrast from sys tray

i have a problem when i play a movie in any player my movies appear really dark, when i try to adjust in wmp the sliders wont move, i used g-spot to make sure i had the right codecs, its beggining to be a pain now, any ideas any one please? My system is: athlon xp2500m 1024 ddr400 geforce fx5200(latest drivers) asus a7n8x-e deluxe m/b xp-proffesional, upto date but not sp2 thanks, jon

you can just do a google search for azureus it gets downloaded from somewhere like sourceforge i believe, yeh suprnova is pretty good but recently its got popular so slowed down a bit, another good one is http://www.filelist.org, but just about all the time i get full d/l speed

this is just a long shot but it sounds like the laptop is somehow not getting enough power to run the network card, it may be a good idea to try a different network card in your lappy, this happend to me once with a wireless card tried another and worked fine, im assuming it was a power problem

i now only use kazaa on rare occasions because of how crap it has become, if your lucky enough to get owt to download a decnt sppen, it wont work, coz of the fake files, your better using a decent program and a new type of p2p, its called bit torrent. With bit torrent you need a client(software) i found azureus to be quite good, then u need a site where torrents(links to d/l item) are listed, i like http://www.suprnova.org , to date i havnt had one bad download or bad download speed.

i downloaded it its out in america on the sci-fi channel they show the whole seris at once, u can get it off http://www.suprnova.org, its through sommat called bit torrent, i think its ok to d/l the seris coz the ppl who put it up just recorded it off tv to pc then posted it, check it out, there all spot on quality too

Watched the end half of the Atlantis seris last nite still very impressed ended in a true stargate ending with a To Be Continued, which are highly annoying as it takes them so long to produce a seris

Watched a few episodes of Atlantis last nite, i thought it was really good, a good spin off to the whole build up to finding Atlantis. All in all i think its really good, that good i had to get the rest of the seris today as i dont have sky and cant wait for it to come to 'normal tv' Not watched the new sg1 episoded yet so cant comment may get them later in the week. But i would reccomend Atlantis

i watched a while ago and thought it was one of the worse movies released this year-it was boring- to say it was meant to be a thriller it didnt thrill me much, rather the opposite it sent me to sleep. if your looking for a good phone related movie watch cellular- good movie, or dont say a word both tons better

Just to reply to the both of your whinges, we know all of our properties in and out, we are a bit smaller than the named property companies, but we pride ourselves on a much more personal service to both the Landlords and clients/tennants/applicants. If your still having troubles give us a call see if we can help 0114 2585981 And secondly the only problem with housing benifit is it takes ages for it to arrive in bank accounts therefore alot (90%) of landlords dislike it, one way to get round it is if you offer landlords a month in advance before your benifit comes in thats better that way for them.

there is a couple of things you could do to speed up the proccess, the first being house swap, in each local housing office there is a big book of ppl wanting to swap houses and there are a quite a few that would like to downsize and because it is a pretty dull book not many people look through it so you have a high chance of finding a house in there, or the second thing is if you are on benifitsa and get housing benifits you could always look to private rent and get it paid that way this would urge the council to house you as they would be paying money out, hope this helps, jon
