You could use COUNTIFS, for example: =COUNTIFS(B2:B11,"Yes") Not sure what is going wrong with the pivot table

I think the video is made with a piece of software from Adobe called After Effects. Basically the s/w allows you to add effects to a still image, such as rain, smoke, falling leaves, moving water, fire, etc. Look on youtube, there are lots of videos showing how to do it, for example: https://youtu.be/L2CDEszfjCo?si=z488nazzuCTr7RZA

You need to turn off forwarding and change your passwords urgently. Typically after forwarding your emails to another address the hacker will then start doing 'forgotten password' requests for any other accounts you have and before you know it you will have lost access to the accounts.

I'm buying the freehold for a house. The documents were signed and the money paid in October last year, but I am waiting for LR to update their records. -
Sheffield Solicitors That Deal With Freehold Purchases?
andysm replied to soulman83's topic in Sheffield Property & Housing
I'm using Norrie, Waite & Slater. Be prepared, freehold purchases are taking a long time, there are major delays at the land registry. Next month is the 2 year anniversary of the start of my freehold purchase journey. -
Can you put the SIM back into the old phone and add a backup email address to the Yahoo account?

The government would be more than happy to have everyone writing letters, they can easily be intercepted and read.

I got off the bus as police and ambulances were arriving. There was a mobile phone and a pool of blood on the pavement outside Dominos. Guy said he saw someone being chased and stabbed.

I prefer winter as I don't have to do any gardening in the winter.

If it is taking a very long time to boot up this could be a sign of a failing hard drive.

Sheffield Becoming A 15 Minute City

This thread is hilarious: I "feel" something bad might happen, so lets all protest about my imagined dystopian future. -
I have a dormeo foam mattress, I deliberately went for a firm mattress and I will never go back to a sprung one.

An increase of 12 times over since inception (1948) implies an increase of about 3.5% per year, hardly a huge increase. The population increased by about 34% over the same time. Average weekly earnings went from £6.70 to £700, an increase of over 100 times.

If it is a desktop computer then you may need to adjust the brightness and/or contrast on the monitor itself. Modern monitors usually have a menu button which you have to navigate through to get to the brightness and contrast settings. Another possibility is that you are not running the monitor at the correct resolution, which can make text more difficult to read.

Ponds Forge/Fitness Unlimited Or Whatever It's Now Called
andysm replied to Burnsie's topic in Sheffield Sport & Activities
I see that Ponds Forge gym, and all the Sheffield City Trust gyms, are now using a booking system where you must book in advance before going to the gym. Does anyone know if this is a permanent feature, or is it in place temporarily because of covid? -
Do you have any food at all in the shop? They can easily chew through packets and bags to get to the contents, even plastic tubs. Check all the cupboards.

A defrag is quick and easy and very low risk, try that first. If it doesn't solve the problem then you can try a reinstall, but backup all your data first and don't forget you may need to reinstall all your other software as well, and make any config/setup changes (setting up email clients etc). Much more time and a higher risk of data loss. If that doesn't solve the problem then it is either an upgrade or new machine.
-
I have personally seen defragging make a noticeable difference on machines with a hard drive. SSDs don't need defragging but do benefit from an occasional trim (I think if you defrag an SSD in windows it actually does a trim instead). Windows can defrag automatically but it isn't always set up to do that. It is also possible that the HDD is failing. When an HDD begins to fail it will sometimes require multiple attempte to retrieve data from the disk before it can do so succesfully, which can cause the machine to run very slowly. Only solution to this is to replace the HDD.
-
You could also try defragmenting the hard drive. File explorer > Right click on OS drive (usually C:) > Properties > Tools > Optimise > Select the OS drive then click Optimise. This may take quite a long time to run, maybe 1 hour. Edit: Best to not use the machine while it is defragmenting.

andysm replied to bassett one's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
With £1 million you could buy a one-bedroom flat in London : https://www.galliardhomes.com/1-bedroom/available/the-stage/501
