Read it again, I simply stated a fact, I never said anything about earth shattering or the biggest game in living memory. I stated the fact that, to go along with the biggest home win in a Steel City Derby, this was the biggest away win. That's all. There is only one top dog in the history of the Steel City Derby, we all know that. I also think that the Wednesday tradition of leaving early, streaming out to leave an embarrassing number of empty seats on view for the camera's, started that day. The pre-match and post match comments from the Owls fans that day make hilarious reading. Agreed. Watching the game again from the comfort of the living room, with all the multiple camera angles, showed the huge gulf in class between the two sides. Just "passion" and "momentum" according to some. It's taken us a long way hasn't it, all that passion and momentum. It was also fun to see two of my Wednesday pals appear so prominently on TV!

Dawson is a shocking keeper but you can't blame him for all of them, keystone cops type defending and that midfield, did any of them actually run at any time?, they just seem to stand watching. I actually think SWFC will put in a really strong performance tonight, and could cause an upset. The main reason being that the game is on BBC1 (not a paid TV service like Sky or BT) and so the TV audience could be huge, no better time for all the players who will be out of contract at the end of the season, to put themselves in the shop window (althoughI would have expected them to be doing that week in, week out).

Fair play to Reading, they put a real shift in. Looked at the Champ table after the game and can't believe they are in 16th, felt sure they would be top 10 with some of those players. I can seen them climbing the table over the next 9-10 games, if they play like that every week.

Not really though, eh?, all that football fans of any football club deserve is that they buy tickets and in return, the players should give 100%. You don't get into the top flight because fans "deserve it", you get there on merit, by having a team that gets promoted. So how do you work that out?, do you think that 60 million pounds actually changed hands when Chancer sold the club to himself? I thought it was common knowledge on how the deal was structured, part of which is the reason that the EFL took a close look at the submitted accounts and saw glaring holes.

Three interesting signings, all young lads with potential, Chris Wilder building for the future. Fifth place in arguably the world's best football league, a great foundation to build on.

Blades better for most of the first half, Arse better for most of the second, until Chris Wilder made the changes and then Fleck scores and we go for it. We needed to put the early chances away, and it would have been three points instead of one. Still, Man City to come on Tuesday, so we need to start concentrating on that.

I think they were the poorest team to visit BDTBL this season, Deano had virtually nothing to do until the final 10 minutes. The big question for me would be, why would you leave Snodgrass out of the starting line up? He changed the game for them when he came on? But we never recovered from the early goal really, and they just showed how good they are. Still, 3-0 on aggregate (home and away fixtures) is not as bad as it could have been, they put 4 past Leicester (at Leicester) and five past Everton recently. I don't see anyone getting anywhere near them now.

Seen it a couple of times, in recent seasons. Drop ball. Either way, an almost full strength Man City team relying on VAR and the ref to win against Sheffield United, like I said, who would have thought it. The majority of their fans (on their forum) were not looking forward to our visit, and you could see why, at times. We almost made it to 12 months unbeaten away, but 11 and a half months is still pretty good. And if our first goal had stood, it would have been interesting to see if our other stat held up or not! (never lost a game in which we scored first, since 2014). Oh, and we only lost by two goals, just in case "Bash Street" is reading this.......🤣
