  1. Hi there Bonnie - I'll let my Mum know, and she will get online and post a reply to you.
  2. Yes, it is! She told me she remembers milking your goats! She'll be so pleased to hear from you.
  3. Hello - I am Lyn's ( Tommy's ) daughter. Lyn worked at Todwick Grange and remembers Bonnie and Christine. I'm sure she will be interested to hear your news.
  4. Yes, he was a schoolboy international. Did you know him, or just know of him?
  5. I'm so pleased that he is remembered. He was my Uncle. We had his caps somewhere, but they seem to be lost now.
  6. Does anyone remember Dennis Thompson, he played for Sheffield United in the 1950's. Sorry I think it was the late 1940's!
  7. I lived at Woodhouse Mill for a short while in about 1967. My parents kept the Princess Royal pub. I remember that lots of the locals were real characters, and there was a really nice walk into some woods just by the row of terraced houses.
  8. Thanks Marion, I'll have a look. I've not seen him for years, I went to school with his sister.
  9. Not sure if they ever lived on Ripon Street, but before they took the Queens, they kept the Fox on Shirland Lane.
  10. Does anyone remember the Hannan's that had the Queens Head in the 70's?
  11. Did anyone go to see Yvonne Clapperton the Clairvoyant? She lived at Abbeydale I think. She was amazing.
  12. Richard Hawley was sensational last night, what a voice, and the down to earth patter in between songs - wonderful nights entertainment! Made me home sick for Sheffield.
  13. Thank you so much! I am really looking forward to it.
  14. Thank you Blackbeard, that's really heplful.
  15. I went to St Theresa's in the 60's and Milly Molly Mandy was the books we were given.
