Your tax disc runs till midnight on 30th of June, I would put new one in as close to this time as possible if its parked on a road, if the car is on your driveway I wouldnt bother till the 1st of July. This will be your last tax disc as from October they are doing away with it, you will still get the reminder & will still have to tax it but you wont get a tax disc anymore.

Would you date someone that you didn't fancy?
whitewitch replied to Mister M's topic in General Discussions
Its more to do with me being 5'11 (6'1 in heels) & only seem to date smaller men. As for women or anyone who dont acknowledge you then they arent worth knowing in the first place, lifes too short & precious to give my time to people like that -

No, I dont think it goes with age, I think its more to do with what you are looking for in a partner & If they push those buttons. Maybe when you get older & have been with people you thought were right for you but it turns out to be the opposite, we get picky & decide not to settle for less. Most the men ive met recently i can see why they are single, those people are not going to give me what I need out of a relationship. -

I think if I didnt fancy them I would ask to be friends & see where it goes from there, I would either just remain friends or grow deeper feelings for them & take it further if they still wanted to. Its a long time since I met a guy that gave me the butterfly stomach but theres always tomorrow, I may not meet anyone & be left on the shelf, but rather that than being unhappy again with the wrong guy -
Been thinking about this poor dog all day, was up that area working earlier so was keeping my eyes peeled, got my colleagues watching out for him too if they are sent in that area, saw helping hands van at Hackenthorpe near vets, was hoping he had been caught

Car air conditioning advice/recommendations

It takes about 20 mins, they check the system first before regassing. Join Groupon & buy the voucher, then give them a ring to make an appointment. -

I had mine done by this company too, paid a bit extra for air freshner & dye putting in (to find any future leaks i may get) also got a £10 money off voucher for my next visit. -
Agree with this, stop applying for loans when you have no credit rating as this goes against you. Get yourself a credit card, spend £20 a month on it but pay it back before you get the statement through, this way you pay no interest on the card & build your credit rating back up..

Selling a car with personal number plate
whitewitch replied to chocki's topic in General Discussions
I part exchanged my car at a main dealer last year & they paid to have my plate changed over. -
Totally agree, a high percentage of 999 calls are not an emergency, but quite a few people know exactly what to mention when talking to comms, not breathing & in & out of consciousness is just a few, when crews turn up after driving with blues & twos it is someone with a cut finger, women worried about their unborn babies, crews turn up & they ask if after the hospital ambulance will give them a lift home, when explained that its an emergency service & not a taxi service they refuse to go to hospital. Its crazy

New Road Layout on Burngreave Road
whitewitch replied to GoodBrew's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I use this route constantly throughout the day travelling to & from the Northern, first they put up a set of traffic lights that really was not needed, then they change the road layout at the end of Minna Rd but have not done anything about the road that needs changing just above where the Tesco is, it appears Sheffield City Council try their hardest to stop the flow of traffic when they should be making changes to ease it. -
Im being generous today, you can have a couple too xx

I agree, its good to be comfortable with your own company & whilst you have family & friends you wont be lonely, it's a different feeling sharing your time with that someone special. Maybe try joining one of the groups on here, get chatting through private messaging & see where it goes from there. Good luck xx

As a recently seperated gal I find its not meeting people thats the problem, its meeting all the wrong people, I can honestly see why some people are single

Help navigating Hallamshire hospital
whitewitch replied to Strix's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
If you are parking in the car park on A road, walk into the building facing the carpark, go through to the lifts, press B floor, come out of the lifts, turn right, surgical outpatients on the left, also doubles up as breast clinic on certain days. If your on B road which is the main building (the wards) the entrance is opposite the main building doors (on other side of road) walk in there and surgical outpatients is straight in front of you -
Do you consider yourself to be good looking?
whitewitch replied to Green Web's topic in General Discussions
I'd say I'm quite reasonable looking for a turnip, my personality outshines my looks -

Its gone massively down hill, I went once this year and wont bother going again. You were lucky it took you that long to walk round, last time I went there were about 20 stalls, all the stalls were situated around the toilets and I had to walk back on myself to get to the other rows of stalls, all in all it took me about 15 mins, one of the catering ladies told me they had had nothing but complaints from members of the public and that their rates were going up. Its a shame really, I used to enjoy a walk around there now and again.
