  1. Hhhmmmm......think your doomed then, sorry ---------- Post added 02-11-2015 at 23:28 ---------- Your not scary, I remember meeting you all those years ago, I was the one who gave you nightmares
  2. At 5ft 11.3 (6.2 in heels) i like taller men but only because its easier to cuddle, hold hands & dance with, at the end of the day personality wins me over everytime, i love a man who makes me laugh. My ex hubby is 5ft 7
  3. China Wok on Herries Road, been going there years after having some not so nice take out elsewhere, always yummy ?
  4. I wanted to be a secretary, so went to college for a 2 year course after leaving school. I did a part time cleaning job in the evenings to get a bit of money to live on. After a year they threw me out, I hated it & didnt make the effort to turn up on time (scott & charlenes romance & wedding in neighbours was more interesting) after that I was a mothers help, I worked for a paraplegic with household chores & then nursing homes. Looking after people seemed to make me feel like I was doing something worthwhile. Ive worked in the community & hospitals, been trained....trained...& trained & for the past 7 years Ive been doing the job I was made for, (without giving you a job title) I now drive for a living which I love & convey vulnerable/ill people of all ages, hopefully making a very scary time a bit more comfortable. ☺
  5. The lady whos car he walked into is a colleagues partner, both are ok, think the little lad is still a bit traumatised. Ive heard the man in question is doing ok, he was very lucky the cars were all slowing for the traffic lights ?
  6. I nearly knocked a lady over at Hillsborough a couple of weeks ago, she was lucky that i was well aware that she had not looked once in my direction but was watching the cars coming the opposite way, I slowed right down hoping she would look in my direction, she didnt, out she came, I slammed on with a little skid on the tramlines, as she spun round with a shocked look on her face she placed her hand on my bonnit, my vehicle is approximately 3.5 tons so at 30 mph would have caused her a bit of damage.
  7. Only just seen this, I was the one who moved the cat out of the road & felt for a pulse, didnt want anyone running over it, glad you found the owners, poor little thing was on my mind all day.
  8. They are building the helipad outside a&e so patients can be wheeled straight into a&e without the use of an ambulance so saving time, also building shops outside Huntsman main building, so it will be a bit like Rotherham hospital.
  9. Went past when emergency services were there, someone was chatting to the the car driver through the door so hopefully everyone is ok. Its about time they put traffic lights on that junction.
  10. When I lived at home with my parents I joined a company & was on a zhc, it worked fine for me as I had no responsibilities. I now work for a company full time, im a single mum of one with a mortgage so i need to know I have a certain amount of money coming in every month, so zhc wouldnt be good for me. As someone has already said I think its ok for the younger generation with no ties & the semi-retired who want to keep busy. A young girl at my work was on a zhc & couldnt get a mortgage with her fella. It all boils down to the individual persons curcumstances & if they are happy with it then thats fine
  11. Im presuming by the symptoms that they diagnosed her with renal colic/kidney stone, which in your friends defence can be quite painful, so I can understand if she has never had them before she would have been quite worried. All they will do at a&e for this is give painkillers & advise her to drink plenty of fluids in the hope she will eventually pass the stone. This diagnosis will most likely have been made when she was triaged & since its not an emergency asked to wait in the waiting room. If asians then come in & its felt that their symptoms are a bit more urgent they will be seen first, it doesnt go on the colour of the skin. Hope your friend gets better soon x
  12. We all make bad choices, thats life, but we learn by recognising we have made a bad choice & try not to make that same choice again.
  13. Its time to move on, find someone who wants to spend time with you, been there & done that & i can honestly say im better off without him. Good luck in your future
  14. It may seem a bit low to us but that may be a normal reading for you, youve probably less chance of having a heart attack or stroke than someone with higher blood pressure. The first number Systolic is the highest reading of your heart beating, the second number diastolic is the lowest reading of your heart when its relaxing between beats. ?
  15. I've seen the chinook land a few times at ski village, was watching it today whilst sat in traffic on Derek Dooley ?
  16. Never read any of the books & certainly not interested in the film, just common sense tells me all may be not well in the bedroom department
  17. Haha at least with all that spice it might get rid of her cold
  18. Maybe the sexual side of your relationship is a little bit of wham bam thank you mam, how about spicing it up a bit
  19. We have some fantastic paramedics who work under stressful conditions, but just like any job there is always someone who is in the wrong kind of job, I read the article on which I think your talking about & I personally think he is one of those people, dont let one idiotic/heartless individual slate all the hard work our paramedics do
