That is a nice tat' - congrat's on your first one -
You know the difference between a buffalo and a bison ? - you can't wash your face in a buffalo! It was a bison - adopted as the company (Avesta) logo as the founder was a bit of a conservationist, and also had a breeding herd near the town of Avesta in Sweden. I was one of the lucky ones who visited the swedish plant and got to see the herd and pat them too ( Ahhhhhhh! ). Apparently ( and this may be a travelers tale ) they used to cull one every year for a get together BBQ type thing for the emloyees. One of the local hunters had the task of "obtaining" one and this particular year, the beast moved as the hunter took his shot. Now the story goes that this resulted in a) the bullet missing its mark and grazing the somewhat tough skull of the beast. b) Said beast becoming mightily peeed off and headbutting its way through the compound fence ( which is made from poles not unlike a telegraph pole) c) said hunter running like the wind trying to reload and drop said beast before it got him! The guy relating the story was also stood about 20 feet away from us, looking slightly nervous, while we were patting bisons and bison babies - so maybe there was a some truth in the story

Poddox works

You're running Vista - enough said! If you aren't fussy about playlists and library's and such like, try poddox. It's simple drag and drop to your i-pod. I use it on 2 shuffles (1st & 2nd gen) with great success.

PLease be aware - we phoned to check our daughters application only to be told that they have no record of it .... BUT! ... you only have 28 days from the person starting back in education to make your claim. If you havent heard anything yet I would suggest you get in touch just to make sure that your claim is in the system or you may miss out all together.

Highly recommend it. Last time we were there, the girl doing the Bird of Prey display was stood right behind me ( I hadn't noticed ) and I literally ended up with a face full of Barn Owl wing.

IS any one suprised old bushy brows doesnt have a clue? Is this not the 3rd job he has been un-impressive in ( Education and Transport if I remember correctly being the other two) How come these failures keep getting better and better jobs? I'm pretty sure if I made a monumental bog up in my job I would NOT be offered a better one to make up for it. Talk about jobs for the boys ... did he go to the same school as Mandy ? -
So we will see him setting an example on the 52 going into town then if he ever calls in our way?

Help with Broadband speeds on Sky Broadband
Sizza replied to male_px's topic in Computer & Tech Chat
4.3 meg download speed - not much faster than my mid range package at £5 (currently 3.8 / 4.1 meg) Maybe worth a call for a line check etc . I am just about at the 3km distance from my exchange and get average of 4. Would expect better than that on a 16 meg line
