hi i had the same problem with my second hand 820 this is a common problem with emachines it means your motherboard is about to die and trust me get a new one quick because when mine went it blew the cpu aswell hope this helps.

could really do with your help here there is no sound coming out of my speakers on my pc i just get a beep from the tower and i know they work as i have tried them on another pc any ideas.
