  1. Radio Sheffield say all First Group are suspended but no mention of Stagecoach...(at 7.04am news Weds 1st Dec)
  2. I've never had a good experience in there....can't believe I've been so stupid as to go there several times.....will go to Wavelength for set up.....or London....both are out of my way but I'm not going in Wizard again
  3. Similar experience; never go in there any more not even for strings or a plectrum. Amongst the rudest service I've encountered anywhere
  4. Please pass this on; http://www.travelsouthyorkshire.com/timetables/busservicechanges.htm October and November Bus Service Changes From Saturday 30 October, Sunday 31 October and Monday 1 November 2010 there will be changes to some bus services across South Yorkshire.....
  5. I would be nice to see Oyster card or similar and / or a monthly season ticket valid accross all operators.....that is if there is to be more than one operator......
  6. They could communicate the changes. They could put signs on the bus stops to say that a service doesn't stop there anymore. They could put a sign on the bus stop saying where the bus now stops. The could update the journey planner on their website to reflect the changes. They could update the tracker to reflect the changes. They could not make excuses and say "it's not our fault" when you ask for help.
  7. I absolutely expect each driver to know their timetable and route before they start the engine and to have something with them to refer to and keep on track. If not they should stay at home. I also expect them to apologise on behalf of their employer instead of making excuses and saying "it's not my fault". If the employer is at fault they can take it up with them, not take it out on the passengers.
  8. The whole thing has made a mess for me. I'm going to have to pay for every fare individually at about £6 a day and make sure I am in town by 7pm to get home. There isn't a word I can think of to describe how angry I am about this. Enraged and furious are nowhere near strong enough
  9. Looks like going out in the evenings is no longer an option for me. Unless FirstCXXX or StageCXXX are going to give me money for taxis
  10. 1) I see the "Journey Planner" at http://www.travelsouthyorkshire.com/ has not been updated to reflect the changes. 2) There are no changes listed under "Changes and Disruptions" http://www.travelsouthyorkshire.com/News/Changes+and+Disruptions.htm Changes and Disruptions Information Posted: 26/07/2010 @ 07:27 Buses and Supertram: Road works are taking place in Barnsley on Burton Road, Old Mill Lane. Bus services are being delayed as a result. Services - 1,6,11,12,43,44,59,66 are all being affected as buses on these routes inter-work and will therefore pick up delays en-route. Delays are currently approximately 30 minutes but please note that there is a chance of bigger delays depending on the volume of traffic in the affected area. There are no other reported problems. For information on local road closures please listen to local radio or visit BBC Travel News. For up to date information on local roadworks visit our roadworks section. Rail Services: There are no reported problems. For further information about Local Rail and National Rail services please visit http://www.nationalrail.co.uk. 3) If you are patient and look for it you find this http://www.travelsouthyorkshire.com/timetables/julybusservicechanges.htm which tells you "The timetable is subject to revision" but not what changes or the fact that the bus no longer stops where it used to. What is the name of the person responsible for this website?
  11. Why could they not let us know? You want to change routes and bus stops? Ok, but TELL US!!!!
  12. Nothing on the TravelLine website....shouldn't have skipped mind-reading lessons as school.....
  13. Lost BBC when the upgrade took place but found them on channels 800+. The next day they were all back again. Now I've lost them again except in the 800 range.... Any help appreciated
