Am looking for somewhere in Sheffield that serves good food and provides the chance to dance on a Saturday night .... but that's not a meat market and is cool for singles and couples alike. Any ideas welcome, thanks.

I am trying to get in touch with a lady called Jane who used to teach a Funky Dancing class at Mount View church hall about 3 years ago. I think she may run a class in Meersbrook. Does anyone know whether she is still teaching or how I can contact her about classes? Thanks

Thanks to you all for your thoughts and ideas. Research going pretty well. Interested in knowing anything specific about family living on Lantau, Lamma or New Territories.

Anyone know of anywhere which welcomes 4-5 year olds to play football in the south of the city, apart from Tapton, which I'm aware of?

Hi I have been taking my children to a great gym class at Graves Leisure Centre and while they are enjoying there being only 3 or 4 in the class, the centre manager wants to buy some more equipment for the class but can't justify this without more punters! The classes are on Fridays : 18 months - 3 years 9.30 - 10.30am and 3-5 years 10.30 - 11.15am. There is a very pleasant cafe for parents to have a drink and there are two staff supervising and teaching. The children do things like beam, horse, trampette, balancing, floor moves, head over heels, jumping, hopping etc. It's £3.70 per session. Highly recommended!

Constance Grant Dance Centre on Psalter Lane http://www.cgdc.co.uk Their Adult Dance class would probably suit you.

Hi Tingle Yes, I have put my name on the waiting list at Constance Grant for beginners' tap. In the meantime, I go started going to their Adult Dance class 7pm on a Thursday, which is just on a turn up and pay basis. It's fun. So far we have done a rock and roll dance, a latin-type groove dance and a showgirls style dance, with hats!. It feels completely OK to be a beginner and everyone joins in at their own level. £3.75 for 45 minutes. People wear trainers and jog pants.

We have an old (2000Wreg) Seat Alhambra (7 seater but we only usually want to use 5 - the other 2 fold up). The problem is that there is only a lap seat belt on the middle seat, as the seat is removable, so for our 3 children under 5,we have to use one of the seats at the very back, because we can't use the car seats with a lapbelt - the lapbelts in this model of car are not compatible with car seats. This is inconvenient and means we lost boot space. Does anyone know of a 7 seater car where all the seats have 3 way belts? Or where the lapbelt is designed to be safely used with a car seat? Any help much appreciated as the car and car seat manufacturer haven't been any help! Thanks

I am looking for a gymnastics class for my 4 year old. He has done a trial session at Steel City Gymnastics Club in Heeley but the staff didn't seem very geared up to making young children feel at ease - and not very welcoming. Does anyone have any experience of Steel City, or any other recommendations?

Can anyone recommend a lively adult tap dance class in Sheffield for beginners?
