Internetowl replied to Jon's topic in General Discussions
if you let prostitutes into classrooms during lessons, then the kids educational performaces will suffer further as the teachers will be too busy in the stock rooms ) -

I think you'll find flying is statistically safer than sailing, driving, or walking. M.

surely people not voting is their democratic right and a sad indictment of the state of local government in this country.

Warning for TV/DVD buyers @ Safeway

however WHSmiths are offering a nice unit for 49 quid currently. Looks to be multi-region, svcd, vcd, cdrw, cdr,mp3 compatible. A breeze for the money with 2 years guarantee. Best bargain at meadowhell. M. -
interesting that someone was surprised by how many voted for the BNP. Had they had representatives in all wards then the 'real' figure would have been frightening. They expect to take Burnley (ie have a majority within the next 4 years, now thats scary) and once one town goes that way, others will follow. Its a sad day for democracy when a party so obviously dangerous to society is allowed to florish.

Looking at the UFO report, the bloke mentioned Maxwell Burns is probably not the most reliable of witnesses or investigator. In all honestly it was probably hi-jinks by two RAF pilots which caused the booms and there was no cover up , no mod retrieval of ufo's from the reservoir nor red glow which lit up the night sky unless you talking about the sun going down.

Jon, did you manage to get your guitar fixed? M.

equally the 'loyalists' who have been at it too? But then I suppose they are exempt due to the fact they were getting support from the Security Forces and the UK government it seems? Nothing, anyone involved first hand in the troubles didn't know anyway

I've had some useful cd boxes (yellow ones) which worked out a quid for three. Each holds 50 disks (they were ok). I bought some quality ni-cad batteries, lasted for yonks (quid for 4) and some swell gel pens (pack of 6 different colours). I also bought a light for my gameboy which was worth about a fiver at EB along the way, its good for Xmas decorations and diaries (page to view, A4 and hardback) + loads of other stuff, take the plunge you know you want to and your mother did

i bought a cheap one on offer in argos. Works well for 100 quid. I'm very impressed with its features and the extra's and got a 64meg card so plenty of storage too and for just 100 quid if it get wrecked then nothing really lost. Downside its costing me a fortune in ink cartridges for the printer

a word of warning, be careful out there, there are a lot of wierd people about these days!

freedom fighters fighting an oppressive regime who now seem to have got their sights on the sand!

Just thought I'd add a coment on the above venue. They have no competition so can afford to serve up what they want which is a pity. Went last week with the nipper, they were rude and abrupt to customers and the food was poor. Packed lunch next time I think. -
I think the Burton Street Project are doing Salsa sessions one evening in the week. You could try them on 0114 233 2908 and ask for Iris.

i'm sure there's somewhere off the parkway that does both karting and indoor paintballing - which is a bit more clinical than normal outdoor running around the woods paintball.
