I do hope so because i am quite worried about it, as i said the blue badge was the wrong way round, i was not illegally parked there.

the company was pcm (parking control management) and it says its an approved operator.

I took my disabled mum to meadowhall today and parked my car in a disabled space and i put her blue badge on the dashboard, when i came out i had received a parking ticket, and thats when i realised the badge was upside down. I looked on the fine and i could not see a phone number so i could ring them to explain, just a number to appeal. What should i do now?

Last year was the first time i tried to grow my own veg (in containers) and was successful, now i would like to know if that compost can be used again if so what for. I grew potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, onions, chilli and peppers in the containers in an unheated greenhouse. I also grew runner beans, cabbages, cauli and sprouts in the garden, can i grow the same things this year in the same spot? I only have one sunny spot in the garden and thats where the runner beans were. I look forward to your replies.

We recently rescued a staffie and she is around 11 months old, she is mouthing everything, not just her lead, she does it to our arms, hands and even our clothes when we are walking around in the house. Hi, Could anyone advise me how i can stop cats from using the flower bed under my window as a toilet, i have tried cat and dog repellent and it has not worked, somebody told me to put chilli powder down which i did and that did not deter them either. It is really annoying me now because they are digging up my plants that have started to grow. I look forward to reading your replies, thank you

Just want to update, i made a few calls yesterday and i had a call back this morning and a social worker is visiting mum on Monday to do her an assessment, they are also going to contact her gp regarding a memory test she has had (shes having the second part this week) i have also been told sheltered housing might not suit her. I will post again and update when i have any more information, thanks once again its much appreciated.

Yes sheltered housing with Sheffield homes and we do bid on them but had no offers, we have been told she needs a social worker to help, and mum has already had adaptions done to her flat. She is in the process of bring reassessed again at the moment because she had a fall and ended up at hospital once again 9 days ago (and has since had 3 more falls) so the occupational therapist visits her once a week for 4 weeks to carry out various assessments.

dont think they will help, they are useless!

Hi, My mums elderly and has a number of illnesses including copd, diabetes, angina etc etc, she has short term memory loss and has almost set her kitchen on fire a couple of times over the past couple of months, she has carers 4 times a day to get her out of bed, dressed and to give her, her medication, and yet she has no social worker. We have decided mum would be better in sheltered accomodation but that wont happen unless we have a social worker, according to support 55 who visited mum this morning. Could anyone please advise me how we go about finding one, surely mum should have one, other people do. I look forward to your replies.

Our house is the coldest house we have ever known, we have the heating on from 6am- 10pm and as soon as it goes off its freezing again. I dread to think what my bill is going to be!
